Senator Tuberville is following a senate rule that has been around for decades, He is not doing anything illegal, you may not like it but the reason it has lasted this long is because other senators want to keep that law in place. On the other hand, it is long standing law by congress that taxpayers will not pay for abortions. Again, you may not like that, but it is the law The Biden DOD has broken this law by paying for transport specifically for abortion. I can’t spell it out any clearer. I wish that the promotion hold was not happening, but Senator Tuberville is using his only option to fight back against the illegal spending.
