Reads like the normal Car robberies in that area. The agents, assigned to protect Naomi Biden, were out with her in the Georgetown neighborhood late Sunday night when they saw the three people breaking a window of the parked and unoccupied SUV, the official said. The official could not discuss details of the investigation publicly and spoke to the AP on Monday on the condition of anonymity. One of the agents opened fire, but no one was struck by the gunfire, the Secret Service said in a statement. The three people were seen fleeing in a red car, and the Secret Service said it put out a regional bulletin to Metropolitan Police to be on the lookout for it. It was unoccupied. Washington has seen a significant rise in the number of carjackings and car thefts this year. Police have reported more than 750 carjackings this year and more than 6,000 reports of stolen vehicles in the district. U.S. Rep. Henry Cuellar of Texas was carjacked near the Capitol last month by three armed assailants, who stole his car but didn’t physically harm him. Ask Gretchen Whitmer and Nancy Pelosi’s husband. yeah, you should research into Whitmer and why the case collapsed. https://www.cnn.com/2023/09/15/politics/gretchen-whitmer-michigan-kidnapping-plot/index.html But the fact is it was just another unoccupied vehicle break in, in an area known for them. the only difference they have these armed people that will shoot at someone for breaking into a vehicle. Imagine if us or any other cop pulled that one. Glad no one was hurt.

A High country or Executive package brings them into the 100K range. IT probably sat out like beacon at 2AM on a weekend. Its funny how the left is trying to imply she was targeted. Nope, just the same crime the rest of us deal with. but we dont have guards or allowed to just open up on someone for breaking a window.

B-Man
NEXT SUPREME COURT TERM: It could be a very difficult one for supporters of the Administrative State two cases that will be argued in January 2024 are especially important. “The two most-watched cases, Relentless Inc. v. Department of Commerce (court file 22-1219) and Loper Bright Enterprises Inc. v. Raimondo (court file 22-451), will be heard back-to-back on Jan. 17. “In Relentless and Loper Bright, the court may narrow the application of the so-called Chevron deference doctrine that the Supreme Court articulated in the 1984 landmark ruling, Chevron v. Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC). “In Chevron, the court held that while courts ‘must give effect to the unambiguously expressed intent of Congress,’ where courts find ‘Congress has not directly addressed the precise question at issue’ and ‘the statute is silent or ambiguous with respect to the specific issue, the question for the court is whether the agency’s answer is based on a permissible construction of the statute.’ “In other words, Chevron stands for the proposition that when the meaning of a statute is unclear, an executive agency’s interpretation of a statute it administers is entitled to deference unless Congress has said otherwise.” Well maybe not much longer. https://www.theepochtimes.com/us/supreme-court-schedules-oral-argument-in-challenge-to-bureaucrats-power-5531659?ea_src=frontpage&ea_med=lead-special-judiciary-medium-
