Chuck Vicario, lead singer of Big Wheelie and the Hubcaps, a very popular WNY doo-***** musical act in the ‘70s, 80s and beyond.

 

He was often called, “Buffalo’s King of the ‘50s.”

They were a staple of WKBW radio in the early 70's. RIP Big Wheelie..

Still have the album. The album cover was taken in the back of the Thruway Plaza along the railroad tracks that run along Broadway.

They used to play at the Lancaster speedway/racetrack. Rip.

They were booked early at St.Gabriel's seems like forever..they always sold out our 50's dances.

Rip..he was a down to earth guy.
