Not that I think Watkins is bad, or that someone else might not have given him that much...but he's got real deficiencies on the defensive side of the ball, money that could have been spent on that side. That pretty much says it all. The Watkins Whiners really need to give it up already. He's not worth $16M a year. That pretty much says it all. Deandre Hopkins in ten times the receiver Watkins is and he will make about as much. Watkins is the 65th best receiver in the league ATM yards wise and in my view not worth anywhere near what he was paid by KC.
