Nothing if you want to delay the development of a qb that you traded up to take with the 7th overall pick.

Allen just turned 22 and has been focusing on football for less than 5 years. I highly doubt riding the bench for 8 games will delay his development all that much. There's a fair argument to be made that putting him behind our line before he's gotten used to NFL game speed will delay his development a lot more.
