BILLINGS, Mont. (AP) — Republicans say in a television ad that Montana U.S. Sen. Jon Tester has taken more money from lobbyists than any other member of Congress this election cycle as he seeks to fend off a challenge from Republican State Auditor Matt Rosendale.

AP FACT CHECK: Tester did rank No. 1 in cash from lobbyists

I'm not really sure where to put this one... the Scalise thread? here?

California man Farzad Fazeli was arrested Tuesday for allegedly trying to stab a congressional candidate at a fair on Sunday, police said.

Local media identified the candidate as Republican Rudy Peters, who is challenging Democratic Rep. Eric Swalwell in November.

Peters survived serious injury thanks to a malfunctioning switchblade, the Alameda County Sheriff’s Office said Tuesday. The attempted stabbing was preceded by Fazeli making “disparaging remarks” about the Republican Party, according to the sheriff’s office.

More polls backing a democrat win in the House......................

4 separate forecasts give House to Democrats.

For America's sake let's hope that they are wrong (again).............or that they have peaked.

Were the Democrats to take the House, all they will do is ensure a resounding Trump victory in 2020. Endless investigations into long-debunked nonsense, idiotic impeachment articles, and their general insanity will deflate their base when each asinine scheme predictably blows up in their faces.

To paraphrase: All they have to be is rational, and they just can't do it.

A resounding Trump victory? With 35% of the voters? Ok.

Trump is the best thing to happen for Democrats in a long time.

What's wrong with this? When you have one candidate getting millions of more votes than the other candidate, you would probably figure the odds were in that person's favor.
