Insider Analysis DeMulling shows good range as a run blocker, he has good athletic ability and he executes stretch plays well. He keeps his head up in pass protection, he shows good awareness and he does a good job of adjusting to the blitz as well as line stunts.. He can line up at guard or center and he has good versatility. However, DeMulling lacks prototypical power and he can be overaggressive at time. He doesn't deliver a violent initial punch, he doesn't always roll his hips into the block and he isn't going to knock many defenders back at the point of attack. He is occasionally overaggressive in the open field and he will lunge at times. Overall, he is a capable starter that doesn't make a lot of mistakes and plays with a non-stop motor.

Interesting.  Yet another guard.  Anyone else getting anxious for a tackle?

Guard, tackle, center...I really don't care as long as the Bills find someone for those three spots on the left side of the OL that can actually play.

He's about the same caliber of player as Villarrial.  He's not a great player,  but he won't embarass himself or his team,  either.

Yep...thats a very good comparison...DeMulling had a very good season in 2004...I'd love to see him come in and fill our LG spot so that way Gandy can be used as depth instead of as a starter.
