Klaista2k
Simple question. Do you think we should've cut guys like Kyle Williams, Clay, McCoy etc and tried to tank the season the 1st overall pick? Or are you happy that we're keeping our star players and trying to win?
JimKellyTryouts
The window to be in the driver's seat of a high pick passed as the Gailey era came to an end IMO. As of now, we have a a little too many skilled players on either side of the ball along with a coach and veterans on defense that have said they're not into that, so get ready for the CBS "in the hunt" graphics until around week 16... Zulu Cthulhu
1. This isn't the NBA. Tanking doesn't work. Stop suggesting it's feasible. 2. Cutting multiple players, especially good ones, results in dead cap money that hurts the team, even when you're trying to "tank."
mead107
Should have. YOU PLAY TO WIN.
PrimeTime101
There is no such thing is tanking for players.. they play to win.. If we had traded Darius, McCoy, Watkins... there replacements are going to work just as hard I don't like the term tanking
CheshireCT
I would also say it's good to have these guys around for the younger players to see as examples, to raise their standards.
GunnerBill
I don't think we should have tanked. I do think we should have taken a more realistic approach to our chances though. Loading up on average UFAs to stock the roster is a boneheaded "win now" mentality that never actually leads to winning.
