With this schedule, the Bills can be poor to mediocre for the first 3/4 of the season, and the die hards will be able to hold onto some hope that perhaps the last 4 or 5 games can salvage the season. It practically guarantees that the Bills will be relevant in December, since they probably won't be mathematically eliminated before Thanksgiving with all those AFC East games stacked at the end.

Of course, they could turn out to be good this year and will be relevant in December on their own merit.
