Even with Matt Moore taking over for an injured Ryan Tannehill (knee), the Dolphins kept right on rolling last Saturday. Moore fired four TD passes in a 34–13 rout of the Jets. The veteran QB isn’t going to nickel and dime—he wants to drive the ball downfield when he can. As always, Kenny Stills is the top option there. Reasons to worry for Miami, though: a) Buffalo averages 30.7 points per game at home, a full 10 points higher than its road pace; and b) The Dolphins allow 4.8 yards per attempt on the ground (third worst in the NFL), while the Bills and their top-ranked rushing attack gain 5.5 per try. The Dolphins need to this to be a Jay Ajayi game and not another Moore show.

Watchability Index: 8. The Bills are hitting on 20 hoping for an ace when it comes to their playoff chances, but they could put the Dolphins in a world of hurt.

Urbik Comfortable As The Man In The Middle

By Alain Poupart - miamidolphins.com

This Saturday, the veteran offensive lineman will return to New Era Field, where he spent the past six seasons playing for the Bills.

Dolphins CB Maxwell doubtful

There’s a good chance the Dolphins will be without their most experienced cornerback Saturday against the Bills.

CB Byron Maxwell failed to practice all week due to an ankle injury. Head coach Adam Gase didn’t rule out the possibility of him playing despite not practicing all week, but didn’t sound optimistic.

LB Jelani Jenkins is also doubtful for the game, which means Neville Hewitt is the likely starter Saturday.

A glimpse of the Bills' golden era

A win Saturday would give the Bills five home wins for a third straight season. They haven't won five home games in three straight seasons since 1998-00. (ESPN Stats & Info)

Week 16 predictions (Insider)

Split decision on Dolphins-Bills

Both our Dolphins and Bills reporters are predicting a Miami to get its first win in Buffalo since 2011 and tighten their grip on a wild card spot. But ESPN's FPI favors the Bills heavily.

DOLPHINS AT BILLS

Miami Dolphins

The Dolphins haven't won in Buffalo since 2011, but this year's team has found ways to win. Look for Miami to win an ugly game by stopping Bills running back LeSean McCoy and forcing turnovers defensively, while making just enough plays on offense. Dolphins 17, Bills 13 -- James Walker

Buffalo Bills

The Bills say they have a plan to stop Jarvis Landry, but odds are Buffalo's defense allows some key plays to Landry or other elements of the Dolphins' offense that swings the outcome. Ever since Landry launched himself into Bills safety Aaron Williams in the teams' Week 7 game, knocking Williams out for the season with a neck injury, the Bills' defense ranks 27th in third-down conversion rate and 29th in red zone conversion rank. It was ninth on third downs and first in the red zone through Week 7. Dolphins 24, Bills 21 -- Mike Rodak
