Taking Rex Ryan's quote to the next level: Who are the NFL's best two-, three-, four-, and five-loss teams?

The Rex Ryan Awards

There’s plenty of mediocrity across the NFL this season, but a few teams might be better than their records suggest. Who are the best two-, three-, four-, and five-win teams in the league?

Best Two-Win Team: Jacksonville Jaguars (2–8)

Head coach Gus Bradley is the main culprit, and Blake Bortles and his regression as a passer sure haven’t helped, but there have been brief glimpses of quality this season that hint at a team capable of stealing a few wins before it’s all said and done.

Best Five-Win Team: Buffalo Bills (5–5)
While the Ravens, Steelers, and Colts may have a better chance of making the postseason, the Bills are the most dangerous of the bunch. Why? They’re built to win late in the season for two reasons: They’ll run the ball all over you and they’ll get after your quarterback.

Sammy Watkins and LeSean McCoy are on the field at the start of Friday's #Bills practice. Don't see Mike Gillislee or Seantrel Henderson.

5 things to watch in Bills-Jaguars, which has become a surprisingly compelling game for a few reasons: http://trib.al/WeEXnge

Orchard Park, N.Y. — The Jacksonville Jaguars have foiled the Buffalo Bills' playoff hopes before, so Rex Ryan and company are trying to avoid a similar fate when the 2-8 Jaguars visit Orchard Park this weekend.

Rex has already called the Jaguars the best 2-8 team he's ever seen and heaped all kinds of praise on this foundering team with a dead man walking at head coach in Gus Bradley.

The Bills know the dangers of overlooking an inferior opponent, and given their razor thing margin for error, are doing what they can to protect against that in Week 12. Here's what to watch.

Turnover party for the Bills?

Will the Jaguars defense hold tough?

How will Shady McCoy and Sammy hold up?

Can the Bills' secondary handle the Jaguars receivers?

Revenge game?

Gillislee out, Watkins availability looks promising

Bills RB Mike Gillislee sustained a hamstring injury in Wednesday’s practice and left the session early. He didn’t practice again and is now out for Sunday’s game against Jacksonville. The good news is it appears that Sammy Watkins will be able to play on Sunday.

“I think he’s good to go,” said head coach Rex Ryan of Watkins in relation to Sunday’s game. “He won’t have a full workload, but we’re definitely going to get him in there.”

OUT

WR Robert Woods – knee

S Robert Blanton – foot

RB Mike Gillislee – hamstring

DOUBTFUL

QUESTIONABLE

LB Lorenzo Alexander – ankle

TE Charles Clay – knee

OT Seantrel Henderson – personal matter

OT Cordy Glenn – back

RB LeSean McCoy – thumb

WR Percy Harvin – illness

Rex: Harvin trying to get back for Sunday
It’s not an injury, but illness has made WR Percy Harvin a question mark for Sunday’s game against Jacksonville.

@JoeBuscaglia

How much Sammy Watkins can you expect to see Sunday? That, plus more in my 5 #Bills roster notes heading into Sunday: https://t.co/UXcbrzVTWx

(WKBW) - The Buffalo Bills, fresh off their victory over Cincinnati, now sport a 5-5 record and are two games behind in the AFC Wild Card race. Up next the Bills have a game that they desperately need to win, considering the record of the opponent.

Up next for the Bills is a matchup with the 2-8 Jacksonville Jaguars, and it seems like the Bills are trending towards being healthy with two of their biggest players.

With practice wrapped up for the week, five Bills roster notes as we get closer to the game against the Jaguars:

1) Watkins is ready for takeoff

2) McCoy will play

3) Hamstring claims Gillislee’s availability

4) Harvin remains in question

5) Henderson’s absence raises questions
