For gods sake i know of no other team that brings in their 2nd string Qb on a crucial 4th a 1 for a QB --- trys to draw them offside, then burns a critical time out. Roman should have been escorted off the field after that. If i am Tyrod or McCoy i would have been livid you mean to tell me our best play to gain 1 yard in EJ on QB sneak? Take your pick you actually think that was our best chance. These guys are NFL players they have talent, just don't execute. Fitz is not the best QB in the league, we let him go, he tore us up with Chan calling plays. he spread the ball around Yeah they have Brandon Marshall (who was dinged like Sammy) but made plays. Matt Forte 3 TDs is no better than Shady. Jets OL blocked and good play calling How many targets did Watkins our most explosive weapon have? Don't give me he was hurt, he played and was running around fine. We have one of the fastest WR in the league he made a play and that's it. He came to the huddle late. He looked like he was unaware of the snap count even though the run was coming right at him. He whiffed on the key block and that was the game. EJ Manuel Qb sneak should not be a play we run is all it was an offense that lacked in creativity (screen pass anyone? QB rollouts?) and in game adjustments (zero targets in 2nd half vs KC last year after they put a safety on him) has really held the team back. The D has been up and down and not saying it doesn't need some change but the offense really needed a change. This is a league where you need to score a lot of points to win. Regardless of your defense. Oakland have up 37 last week and won because they could score. Steelers are the same. You aren't going to hold many teams to less than 20 anymore. It looks ridiculous doing the firing now from the outside but I don't think they felt it made sense to wait. They knew he wasn't going to evolve.
