4 reasons the Bills should try and sign Dwight Freeney

Shaq's role is to be a three down hybrid OLB/DE. Manny can't do that nor can Freeney. But the two together might be nice. Manny plays OLB in the base 3-4 and Freeney plays DE in the nickel and dime packages.

It is never that simple but what other options do they have for DE in any four DL set?

 

Because if there's one thing we would want to see a lot of in the Ryan Bro's D: it's constant substitutions.

Based on Whaley's comments on WGR, the only chance of this happening would occur in July, or August.

These are the problems you get when every other year your switching base defenses- its not just the injuries. This teams still a **** show- 17 and counting , bet on it.
