Rex tips hat to McCoy

Bills RB LeSean McCoy got his first touchdown as a Bill Sunday on a 10-yard catch in the first half to put the team up 14-0 en route to a blowout win. But it was a lot of the dirty work that McCoy did in the offensive backfield that earned some new respect from his head coach.

“LeSean McCoy—he’s out there sometimes on one-and-a-half legs, but he’s unselfish,” said Ryan. “He’s doing a great job picking up blitzes. I feel frustrated for him because I know the kind of mark he wants to put on this team, but physically right now he’s not quite back to where we need him to be. He just has to keep going.”

Humid weather couldn’t chase Rex’s sweater vest
The temperature on the field was in the upper 80’s Sunday, and the humidity wasn’t far behind making for some sticky weather in Miami for the Bills game with the Dolphins. Head coach Rex Ryan however, wasn’t changing his game day routine. His sweater vest was out in full force along with a long sleeve shirt underneath.

Buffalo Bills 41, Miami Dolphins 14

1. The game went according to script for Buffalo. The Bills' fearsome defensive front dominated the line of scrimmage, Charles Clay burned his former teammates in the first half, and Tyrod Taylor finished with a 136.7 passer rating. Through three games, the Bills have the look of a team that will be tough to beat unless Taylor is forced into a shootout with the opposing quarterback. Taylor became the first Bills quarterback since Hall of Famer Jim Kelly (1991) with at least seven touchdown passes and a 70-percent completion rate through Week 3.

Bills' FSU Rookies Shine (0:13)

@JamesWalkerNFL

It's time to study the game film of yesterday's #Dolphins-#Bills game to catch details I may have missed. This should be interesting.

Easy to notice on film that Miami's D often plays a step slow, especially early. BUF's D flies around and is more comfortable in its scheme.
