That may be scummy by the Cheats*, but if true, that's even scummier conduct by Raiola. No excuse for possibly ending the career of a competitor because of a decision his coach makes.

sorry, regardless of the teams involved, when you're the offensive team you don't line up to play possum and end the game and then shoot out after a guys knees. It's a childish bush league move and it doesn't have a place in sports.

With 4 mins left, up 18 and in the red zone, the Pats were trying to run out the game but the Lions, by calling two TO's and taking a personal foul penalty on a completed FG make, apparently wanted to keep playing. So, the Pats obliged and kept playing themselves.

 

If the Lions players wanted the Pats to stop playing then they should have, you know, stopped themselves.
