No trade partners for TJ? Shocking!

ESPN's Adam Caplan reports the Bills have had WR T.J. Graham on the trade block "for several months."

It's hardly surprising, as it's been assumed Graham's roster spot was in danger since the end of last season. Graham has had a quiet camp, and caught only two passes through four preseason games. The Bills' new brain trust has no allegiance to former GM Buddy Nix's 2012 third-round pick.

Whaley is pretty good at this kind of stuff, as evidenced by the Hughes for Sheppard trade, and even Thad for Chris White (which worked for a year at least). He may still be able to pry a back-up that can contribute for a backup that cannot.

Carolina or Cleveland might be interested.

@caplannfl

Tonight's games are important for many backups as they'll be auditioning, in a sense, for other teams.

For example, the #Bills have had WR T.J. Graham on the trade block for several months, sources said.

If Whaley can pull another rabbit out of his hat and trade someone who's destined to be cut in the next 72 hours, that would be incredible. I just don't see it happening without him being showcased tonight. Let's see how many balls he has thrown his way tonight, I'm guessing he'll once again be invisible though not for lack of effort.

And yet couldn't get anything for TJ. Quite telling. Assuming we keep 6 WRs, the marginal player is better to be ST contributor like Easley or a hard worker like Hogan.
