Thank God we have the unhindered right to get whatever gun we want. It’s obviously helping to keep us safe. Now if we can only convince our priests to carry. Then maybe we will be safe in church. Until then, the sacrifice must continue.

What would you propose from a confiscation, or compulsory give back, to start to solve the problem? I’m torn on this issue—I’m not a gun enthusiast but know many, many responsible gun owners.  It seems we have rules in place to screen, yet in the cases of these crazies guns are obtained regardless.

I’ll ask the same question I asked Andy—where do you start?  Citizen is a firearms enthusiast, has a variety of firearms ranging from handguns to rifles, to semi-automatic.  He passed a background check, has a secure home, no signs that he’s a threat to anyone.  What can he keep?

Sweden per capita had more die in a school shooting this year then America has had in any year of its existence, but once again ignorance is your specialty

Considering many handguns and rifles are also semi-automatics, I don’t think the specific action or type is the real problem. The problem is what is part of the background check. The ability to keep them away from the mentally unstable is the real issue.
