Everyone was intrigued with this joker's leg strength-- but my point was that punter (like kicker) is a position where you go with the less risky veteran, than an unproven rookie. The difference between Powell and Moorman's big kicks is marginal. But even if it wasn't, you get the consistency and lack of choking from Moorman. It's actually to Powell's credit that he got the ball away on that one. That's fair. But there were three other near-blocks in the game too. Nonetheless, that's the least of Powell's worries.
