When I saw Rodgers throw a slant route, I knew the Bills were in trouble. Chans committment to his system isolates book smart guys at the extreme expense of athletic talent and play making. If they said screw long term planning and did a redskins-esque trade for the luck pick.... They would've had a chance to make another couple runs. It's an interesting spot. The colts are a bad team right now, and Manning only has a 3-5 years left realistically. Let him go continue elsewhere and get your kid to develop at QB. I agree and I think brees even more so due to consistently more uptempo pace. But those guys aren't here. You have to be flexible and use the guys that are available and you can win with. No system is so good it justifies putting on the field guys without NFL talent. More irony: combined Ben has been to as many super bowls (3) and has as many wins (2) as Manning and brees combined.
