Or Clay Matthews, Oher, Josh Freeman, Harvin, Laurinaitis, LeSean McCoy, etc. Wasnt that weak of a draft overall, just alot of high pick busts. Make the pick in your sleep and plug him in at Starting DE (or OLB apparently) and not think about the position for 12 years. Maybin was a 5th round talent who offered up nothing. dpberr Posted October 14, 2011 Share Posted October 14, 2011 (edited) I think it's too early to rule the 2009 draft a *total* bust. Yes, Maybin is surely one. He's never performed. Some of those other guys have underperformed so far. I think Curry will end up proving us wrong. Seattle was playing him at the wrong position, so it never surprised me he wasn't as dominant in the NFL as he was at Wake Forest.
