We had Sheppard valued higher than PFW, Aaron Williams ranked just a little lower. Searcy was a reach on both mocks, and Hairston a good value. C White ILB was a steal in RD6 according to DraftTek, but PFW had him in the general area. RD7---meh.

Interesting, Astro.

Any idea why the discrepancy?

According to their own scale, a team that gets 4 or more projected starters out of a draft gets an "A" grade by PFW. I see 4 or 5 starters in this group: Dareus, Williams, Sheppard and Hairston and possibly Searcy. They should have given the Bills an "A". The Bills thought more highly of Sheppard and Searcy than they did, but the Bills coaching staff got a very good look at them because they were on the South squad in the Senior Bowl. I feel good about their selections.

Its good to see us get some "Value" for a change. I am really tired of us drafting kick return specialists and 5th round talents in the 1st (Maybin).

i concur.. very troubling observing the drafts leading up to this past one. the days of john mccargo and chris ellis type picks are over. i sometimes think levy thought he was "the smartest guy in the room" with some of the his picks. still cannot understand the whitner pick. but again, hopefully those days are gone!
