Rick Perry strikes again....

Recommended Posts

What if Texas had seceded as Governor Perry had wanted? Education crisis doesn't warrant him getting money that's just sitting there from the federal government. Who needs the federal government? Texas certainly doesn't.

Oh, but now Perry thinks it's fine to ask President Obama for federal assistance b/c an effective response to the wildfires are "beyond the capabilities of the state" which flies in the face of his "we-don't-need-federal-government!" argument. Another tough talker who isn't so tough...

Are you really a moron, or is it just a slow Monday and you decided to try to stir the pot?

Yes hypocrisy abounds in the republicunt especially the extreme cuntservatives - my favorite is all those Alaskan antisocialist types who get yearly oil profit checks- could you imagine if New York or Pennsylvania were holding up the natural gas companies like that- the screams of Communism would be deafening.

*Yawn* Really?

I guess we should just worship those states that keep their hands out continuously, huh?

You realize, after taking this anti-government funds stance, to appease the tea party, Perry has repeatedly asked for federal funds...I have nothing against asking for aid for something like devastating fires, but lets be honest about what is going on here, and many other Republican controled states...

Part of the issue is the ridiculous government regulations the fed slaps us with and makes us pay.

I think more than that Obama came across as quite a little whiney !@#$ in that interview. Especially at the end "off camera."

He was respectful enough of the reporter to wait until it was over...I would think you, of all people here, would appreciate some decorum. I am always trying to find redeeming qualities about you, but you make it difficult... :P

Otherwise known as "Obama being Obama."

It's beyond hopeless for LA!

Oh, please. There are many examples of Obama coming across as absolutely incredulous that anyone -- anyone at all -- won't allow him to fill an entire seven-minute interview with a single seven-minute answer. It's increasingly obvious to anyone who doesn't have their nose up Obama's ass that as a person he is, without question, a leaderless whiny little B word who's really only good at dividing people, embarrassing colleagues, giving condescending speeches, delelgating concepts, and blaming all failures on somebody else.

You don't need to be a right-wing teabagging Islamophoic racist teacher-hating grandma-starving genius like me to see this. Many on the left see this as well. Which is why he currently has the the same approval rating as a gallon of gas.

Funny where you see decorum I see a holier than thou attitude. He'd fit right in with the Hollywood crowd who adore him.

Eh...I guess I just don't see it...

Because you have not experienced the attitude of the Hollywood celebrity like I have. People talk over each other all the time or don't allow people to finish their answers. Only someone with the attitude of "how dare you" would have felt the need to say what Obama said at the end of that interview. It's not the attitude of a leader.
