In terms of Schobel here's his NFLPA contract terms (again minus signing bonus): Salary History 2001 277,500.00 2002 346,875.00 2003 416,250.00 2004 500,000.00 2005 1,000,000.00 2006 2,000,000.00 2007 2,500,000.00 2008 2,500,000.00 2009 3,000,000.00 For those complaining about Schobel's contract; consider this the highest paid DE for the 2004 season is Darren Howard (who is set to become a UFA after this season and I would love to have playing opposite Schobel) was set to earn a base salary of $6,503,000.00 this season. PT and a "trigger" (unknown) Other NLTBE are related to Pro-Bowl and other "honors" such as All-Rookie which are $950,000 in 2004 and $650,000 each of the remaining yrs Schobel's deal is a solid deal for a DE of his ability and production.
