What if Fitz improves his accuracy?

What if Fitz's accuracy drastically improves throughout the season?

Isn't that basically the only thing that's holding him back?

Hell, if he could have had a few throws back from the NE game we very well could have won. Could you imagine him stepping in and beating the Pats? He would be a Buffalo hero.

Perhaps he is the kind of QB that needs a few games to get in a groove and by week 10 he is playing like a pro bowler.

To be honest, I think that this happening is fairly unlikely, but much stranger things have happened (like your starter co-captain being released only a week removed from being your #1 guy).

GO FITZ!

If Fitz keeps playing the way he did last Sunday and only improves his accuracy just a little bit which is not out of the question our O can make some dramatic improvements this season. He has the decision making, the balls, reads the D decently enough and has leadership qualities. Just even a small improvent of his accuracy could make a big difference in the overall scheme of things.

The interception at the end of the game would have to have been a great throw... a throw that, oddly enough, Trent Edwards has the skill (but obviously no longer the moxie) to make.

If Fitz is going to have the confidence to attempt to drop a pass in a tight spot at a bad angle like that (and in a pressure situation) which only a terrific arm can accomplish he's going to need to adjust his expectations just as much as improve his accuracy.

I think he has already improved his accuracy over last year. In pre season at times he looked a lot better like that TD drive against the Deadskins. Sunday, except for a handful of passes (including the 2 picks, the miss to Roscoe for the TD and the miss to Lee for 1st down) was right on the money. He made some damn nice passes. The TD to Steve Johnson comes to mind. His completion percentage for the game was 71% and they were real passes, not checkdowns. Those aren't inaccurate passer numbers.

Let Coach Gailey work with him for another week and tweak some more plays to what he does. He might be alright after all.

If his accuracy improves so what? His noodle arm remains one of his consistent problems.

Perhaps Chan will take his "noodle arm" into account.

Fitz's "noodle arm" almost pushed the patsies to their limit. With a little more accuracy and improved D this "noodle arm" might be able to beat the pats next time.

Way to look at the optimistic side of our qb change up. If you are going to be bitter, then why not look at other positions on our team. I'm a bit concerned as well about some spots but right now it's definitely not qb.

Why not? This guy could be starter after losing to the pats he's .500 as a bill and he never got a fair shake in training camp to get the reps or a full season to improve. He has a few throws that are kinda WTF was that but all the qbs who take chances have errant throws dude puts up 30 at new england and people are calling for Brian brohm give credit where it's due. And ps If you get thirty points on any team and you lose that's on the defense.
