I don't know what the average age of the rest of the teams are but it looks like Buffalo has some good young talent to work with. I'm betting dollars to donuts that the Bills become formidable for several years once they hit their stride.

I find some things curious about the numbers kept for each position. There are four starting LB positions and yet the team kept 10 on the roster. There are 5 starting OL positions and the team kept 9. Also, five WR's seems a bit thin to me. JMO

Yes, they are a very young team, and will likely take some lumps because of it. They do have some nice upside, and with a few more solid drafts, can be a force to be reckoned with in the upcoming years, if they play their cards right and stop letting good young players walk.

Donte sticks out to me the most. He's only 25! Seems like we picked him forever ago. I really like him against the run, and I think he's going to have a nice year in pass coverage too. I predict Donte to back up his talk this year.

I think a lot of the young talent on this team is better than most think. I believe they've found a coach who knows how to get the best from his players.

How does this compare with the rest of the league or our division? I assume we're younger, but it would be interesting to see where we rank among the 32 teams. I'd also be interested in seeing if there's any correlation between avg age and how much success you have in this league -- I wonder what the optimal age is to make a super bowl run?

I'd be interested in that too.

I think we need to do something similar with TSW membership...although I'm not as optimistic about the pool of "good young talent" here.

Maybin being 22 surprised me. Give the kid some time to mature and see what happens.

"but he was a first round pick! he should have been able to start game one to be worth that! he sucks! Look at what [insert player we could have had here] has done! Maybenot was the biggest bust of all time!!11!"

/every response to a Maybin mention in a thread

I'd comment on the subject matter at hand, but I'm too busy feeling depressed at how old I am . . .

I think this is the first time in my life that I am older than every player on the Bills, and it's only downhill from here.

I hear you, as the only players older than me on the entire roster are the punter and the kicker.

Yes, that also caught my eye. This is an important year for the young man.
