Pete Posted February 4, 2010 Share Posted February 4, 2010 Actually Canada is a hotbed of amazing indie rock these days: Broken Social Scene (and all of their offshoots), Weakerthans, Do Make Say Think, Godspeed! You Black Emperor, Silver Mt Zion, Japandroids, the Sadies, the Dears, New Pornographers, Arcade Fire, Holy !@#$, Constantines, Besnard Lakes.....list goes on. Lots of amazing bands. Toronto and Montreal have some of the best, and most organized, musical scenes going. And that, my friends, is called being a music nerd I can't believe this thread is still going. If there is one redeeming thing from this thread about a God awful band it is this list. I am always looking for new music- I will check these bands out.
