Where is the GM when things go bad?

Every off-season, Russ assumes his place next to the newest free agent with a smile on his face. But now, with the season practically over except for some meaningless games, where is RB the boy GM/Marketer in Chief? His silence is deafening and emblematic of a franchise which goes into bunker mode whenever they encounter adversity. All we've heard from him was after the Cleveland home debacle. He disavowed knowledge of the ring ceremony and wouldn't comment on DJ's status.

People talk about TO quitting, and perhaps he did. But this organization quit trying to win when they named people without genuine NFL personnel experience as GM or a similar title. Brandon's taking heat, but he's powerless to make a decision. I wonder if he knew this when he accepted the position that he couldn't control his own destiny.

can you imagine purchasing the team and going on a mass firing... lol... all the pink slips... knock on every office door...Jauron yer fired.. ....Russell K. Brandon, yer fired. :censored:

I would even fire Chuck f****** Lester... I'd be like...."75 years here??? yer done, out, GET OUT!!!"

send a notice to Jeffrey L. Littmann Esq. that he isn't allowed within 500 yards of Ralph Wiggam Stadium property.

John Guy goodbye.... Chubsy Modrak, see ya later. Edwards AND Fitzpatrick would be waived, as would Marshawn Lynch. obviously there are dozens of more things that would need to be done, but this would be a good start.

I don't know what Littman looks like, but I'd find him, and have his cheap a** escorted violently from the building.

As for Brandon, he can take his marketing side-show back to the Marlins or Pirates and try to work his magic show there.

It's little wonder the inner-circle is made up principally of a money man and a marketing guy. I don't know how lucid RW is, but he's ruining whatever legacy he think he's built.

That quote says it all...who is this guy and why has he had so much say with this franchise over the years?

He's Ralph's money man, the treasurer of the team. He handles his financial affairs for the various businesses RW has or still owns. I'm not clear on all of RW's holdings, but Littman's been part and parcel of many of them. He's never going away because he makes the owner and his family money. No real GM can fulfill what Littman does as team treasurer.

I must have missed the logic behind releasing Marshawn Lynch. Why stop there? Let's release Evans, Byrd, Wood, Jackson, Moorman, McGee, Stroud, and anyone else who produces on this  team...

No, the new owner would have to call Modrak. I'm not even sure he's ever been to Ralph Wilson Stadium. After all, why would a front office person ever need anything else than a conference call from his house.....15 hours away.

As much as I bash DJ, its absolute BS that Brandon, Modrak, and Guy aren't under the weekly firing squad that he has to go through. Its like leaving a man out to dry, when its not all his fault.

Brandon, Modrak, Guy = Cowards.

only if they each run down a fat Canadian girl.

and have a glock in da trunk on another occasion.

Outside of that, Lynch is a fine upstanding gentleman... his mommy said so right after the Bills drafted him.

whatever, it's semantics...break the lock on the door if he has an office and throw all his **** to the curb on Abbott Road... I'm sure the upstanding OP waste mgmt. dept. will take care of the rest.

Ah ok, so that's why we're releasing him. Going forward, we need to retain as much talent on this talent starved team as possible. Lynch, with all of his off the field issues, is a player this team can't afford to outright cut. Of course if he had done something criminal (like OJ or Travis Henry), then yeah I'd be in agreement...

I see your point. To me Lynch is one more infraction away from being traded/released. The inmates can't run the asylum.

Sad but true. There is no accountability in this organization....

If it means firing Jauron, getting a good, tough coach, a GM, Do we even have one? is Brandon acting in that position besides being the marketing guy? Darn if we could just get Bill Polian in here! Definitely all new coaches especially strength and conditioning coaches...this team always runs out of gas before the 4th quarter! For that matter get "The Coach" Chuck Dickerson back on WGR550 radio. Those guys are so sorry when it comes to sports...I don't care what marconi award they won...They are always talking about stupid movies or how cheap Howard Simon is....Just fire everyone for that matter there too! Fire the Bills broadcaster on the radio too...he sucks compared to Van Miller! Get

Jim Kelly, Thurman Thomas, and all other glory day Bills who want to be involved with the Bills in some capacity in there!

The time is now!! It's time to give the fans some REAL hope! Don't just bring in the next T.O. guy to smooze us a little into buying tickets! Do what the winners do like N.ENG, INDY, & PITT ! Emulate them, that's what I did on my way to being a

successful Navy Recruiter when I was active duty! I implemented the best traits of all the top recruiters into my recruiting

repritroie and became one of the best! It's a shame that a person of an average educational background can come to these

conclusions when the Bills somehow stay mystified of the solutions at hand in building a winning team for an entire decade!

It's amazing how inept they are as an organization, and as you so eloquently put it "There is no accountability in this organization". That is so true! It is amazing that nobody really is accountable in the Bills front office. They just seem to hide from constructive comments and questions. Where is Russ Brandon now? and Tom Modrak? Yes, D.Jauron does have

short media sessions, but essentially tells you little if anything (of course)...Well, this was my Bills whiner blog or Bills therapy session I suppose...So thanks for putting up with my venting! Bills 5 wins & 11 losses!
