  1. The thing with Graham is that if he is covered, he has a very hard time of creating any type of separation, as well as outleaping and outmuscling defenders for the ball. Plus, he has poor route running skills. Like others have said, if the ball isn’t thrown perfectly to him, he has a very hard time catching the ball.
  2. I'm not saying EJ doesn't have any type of chemistry with SJ, but SJ's numbers are significantly down this year. Granted SJ had Lewis & Tuel as well, but even with EJ throwing to him, his numbers are lower than previous years.
  3. I'm not saying Graham is or will be a bust. Usually it takes WR's some time to develop, so I agree that Graham needs time. What baffles me with this coaching staff is that they don't always give more playing time to the players that are producing more. So far, Goodwin has shown that he had better hands than Graham and should be given more of an opportunity in running different routes besides the go routes. Right now, Manuel has better chemistry with Woods & Goodwin, than he does with SJ & Graham.
  4. The Bills are not effectively using Goodwin, as they continue to throw an occasional deep pass to him every game. In the last Jets game (where SJ & Woods were out), Goodwin had his best receiving game of the year (and IMO, the Bills had one of the best offensive outputs of the season), as he was catching passes all over the field. So far, Graham has proven to be very inconsistent as he has dropped numerous passes, and does not get the same consistent separation as Goodwin does. At this point, I would rather see Woods and Goodwin as the Bills top 2 WR's. I feel Manuel has more chemistry throwing to those 2 than he does with SJ and Graham.
  5. I feel Marrone and Hackett are in way over their heads.
  6. The Bills kept Graham & Hogan over this guy? Another bonehead move...
  7. Just looked at the stats for WR's and Rogers has 6 rec, 107 yds and 2 TDs (so far). Still puzzles me that they let him go and Graham is still on the team.
  8. Just saw this stat: Da'Rick Rogers, 4 rec, 97 yds, 1TD. And the Bills keep playing Graham?
  9. Holy buttwhippings Batman, Chiefs 30, Redskins 0 (9 mins left in the 2nd quarter).
  10. What's SJ gonna say now? Two weeks in a row now!!
  11. What the hell is 4'2" Robey doing covering a 6'5" WR?
  12. Don't have the game either.
  13. That's been a huge problem all season long. Big hole on the same side of the d-line.
  14. Same thing on the NFL Network.
  15. Where I see the run defense improved is up the middle, there's no doubt the Bills need to do a much better job of containing the edges. I'm not sure if it's due to the over-aggressive style of the Bills that's leaving the sides vulnerable or if it's the play of the LB's, but that area needs to improve. The offense has put up a good amount of points in the last 2 games, but struggled most of the season. Granted, it was tough when you're playing with 3 QB's this season, but we've seen the offense go 3 and out a ton of times and with a high-paced/no huddle offense, those fast 3-and-outs have put a ton of on the defense.
  16. This year, the defense has improved in a lot of areas. The offense also needs to do their part by playing good on a consistent basis.
  17. Injuries have played a big part in the pass defense, with Gilmore being out for a while (and not being 100% still), Byrd & McKelvin also missed some time as well. This is the first year under a new DC with a new defensive system, so there's gonna be some growing pains in certain areas.
  18. I feel sometimes the Bills can be overly aggressive with their pressures and teams make them pay for it, such as the 2 long TD's on Sunday.
  19. All the head coaches in the NFL know the rules of the game. No one, except the referees are supposed to be on the white lines of the sidelines. In the last Bills/Jets game where Rex Ryan was flagged for being on the white marker, that incident appeared to be unintentional as Ryan was following the play and stepped on the white marker. If Tomlin was following the play and stepped on the white marker or even got half way up the white marker, you could say it was unintentional. Tomlin just didn't wonder out there by accident, he was standing still with his back to the play with his foot strategically positioned to affect the runner, by which Tomlin succeeded and was not flagged for during the game. It was very blatant.
