  1. If you go back and look at Losman stats his first three years, he showed improvement each year and the last two years he got worst. Even in the win colume. Went from 5 wins in 2005 to 7 wins in 2006 and thats with a tougher schedule. How many wins did we have the last two years with easier schedules. When was the last year Sam Wyche was here?
  2. SKOOBY what makes you think Edwards can throw 4 tds againts N.E. when the four teams with winning records he started againts he had a total of 2 tds.
  3. Wasn't Schonert Edwards QB coach too? Maybe he only knows how to coach them to look good againts teams with loosing records.
  4. How about leading us to the playoffs. Last year we had one of the weakest schedules in the NFL. We didn't make the playoffs. Good leader would've got us there. Guest what, we have the 6 toughest schedule this year. Lead us Edwards.
  5. Yea,Losman looked bad againts the 9-7 Jets. What did Edwards do againts the Jet the first time we played them last year. Lets see,1 T.D. ,2 int. and was sack 5 times ,and also a fumble. He lost that fumble. We also lost that game. Edwards 2-6 in his last eight starts. The two teams he beat each had five wins last year. Maybe we were out coached againts the Jets.
  6. Your right .I meant more about him as a QB. We were 7-9 with Losman starting in 2006 and have been 7-9 the last two years with easier schedules .I don't think Edwards is any better than Losman. Edwards had 14 starts last year with 4 teams with winning records, we lost all four games .He had 2 tds and 5 int. 11 sacks and 4 fumbles in those 4 games.
  7. Why is Losman so hated by you people. We been 7-9 the last three years and we were better in 2006 with Losman at QB than with Edwards this last two years .2006 we had a more tougher schedule than we had last year, team got better the second half of the year and againts tough teams we played tougher like N.E. we lost by two points And the Colts, we lost by one point. S.D. who was 14-2 that year, we lost by three. We beat Jets who were 10-6 by 18 points. N.E. the second game and Bears were the only teams to beat us bad. The total record of the teams we played againt that year was 147 wins and 109 lost. Now if you want to talk about 2007 and 2008 ,He only started againts three teams with loosing records and six teams with winning record. Those six teams had a combine 73 wins and 23 lost. And than you look at our recievers and offense line play the last two years , plus our coaching staff. He was doomed. Now lets look at Edwards teams he started againts the last two years combine win and lost record of 149 wins and 205 lost. He look good the beginning of the year againts Seattle,Jacksonville,Oakland and St. Louis ,Yea real tough teams .And look how Edwards looked the last two years in the second half. I think Losman lost confidence in himself after last year and the other teams see that. Thats why nobody has pick him up this year.
  8. Cutler had 18 int. last year that equal to 2.9 int % for the year. Payton Manning Career int % is 2.9%. Cutler did have 616 att. last year. Do you know that Edwards int. % was 2.9 last year. But Edwards doesn't throw TDs. Last year was the first time that Eli had a 60% com. rating. Never threw over 60% before.
  9. I was joking about win and lost record. The reason was some people didn't want Cutler even no he put up good stats at Denver ,because he had a loosing record as a starter. He even made the pro bowl, but wasn't good enough because of loosing record as a starter. By the way the last four years with Manning starting for the Giants ,they had a 41 wins and 23 lost record.
  10. Whats his win and lost record? Isn't that tell you if he is a good QB?
  11. Losman had 19 tds with those short recievers and Royal at te in 2006. Isn't Edwards more accurate than Losman. He should be able to throw more than 11 tds againt the third weakest schedule in the NFL last year.
  12. He played a couple years in the USFL before he played in Buffalo.
  13. We had a tougher schedule in 2006 with Losman starting and we finish with 7 and 9 record. last year with the second easiest record and Edwards starting 14 games we still finish wih a 7 and 9 record. I don't think Edwards would've beaten the two teams that Losman started againts. We were 7 and 9 last three years and 2006 was our toughest schedule in our last 4 years.Your right Losman had his chance, but he did play againts some tough teams with not great talent around him and not great coaching either. Record of teams started againts 325 wins and 251 lost. thats a tough win and lost record to go againts with a head coach with a career loosing record .Edwards win and lost record of teams started againts 160 wins and 208 losts. This year will be the first time in years that we had a good no. two reciever and we haven't had a good te in a long time.
  14. I think if Losman got to start agants teams that edwards started againts in his career maybe people wouldn't be putting Losman down. Look at the total win and lost record of the teams that Losman started againts each year . 2004-27 wins and 21 lost 2005-63 wins and 65 lost 2006-147 wins and 109 lost 2007-68 wins and 44 lost 2008-20 wins and 12 lost Edwards 2007-64 wins and 80 lost 2008-96 wins and 128 lost
  15. Each year in the last three years , we score more points than the year before . But if you look at the win and lost records of teams we played againts, we should've score more points each year 2006 -wins 147 and 109 lost 2007 -wins 132 and 124 lost 2008 -wins 116 and 140 lost , as you look every year we had a easier schedules . We should score more points than the year before. Yet even with a easier schedule each year, we couldn't get over the 7 win total for the last three years.
  16. So Losmans two starts last year demoralized our last half of the season. How many games did Edwards start the second half of the year?
  17. opponents record 149 wins and 205 lost , when he started the last two years. What winning pct. is that ? Your going to have a higher success rate if your playing bad teams. Just like our 5 and 1 start. What was the win and lost record of those teams he started againts the first 6 weeks ?
  18. I take J.P. Losman, His only year as a starter, he got better the second half of the season. In 2006 19 tds and 14 int. in first year as a fulltime starter 84 qb rating , not bad season. Was the last time we made improvement in total wins from the year before. We had 5 wins in 2005 and we went to 7 wins 2006. Rob Johnson best year with Bills, 12 tds and 7 int. and only threw for a little over 2000 yds. 2006 Losman had more tds, com. pct. and qb rating than big Ben that year and Big Ben had more int. that year. About the same in sacks. Losman sucked the two years after that. But I take Losman one year as a starter over any year Rob Johnson had with us.
  19. One game that should be added was N.E. game that he came into For Losman after the third play of game.Edwards played the entire game except three plays. That was a lost and the Jets game that Losman came in and threw the winning T.D. So that would be 11 wins 12 lost, its a loosing record. Thanks.
  20. Your right, thats good that he played againts teams with loosing record . When your a rookie thats what you want, that way it take presure off your shoulder and makes it easier to transition from college to pro. Some put down that edwards had a 12-11 record as a starter and Losman had 2-7 record at the same time. I just think that if teams your starting againts, have a winning record its harder to win than starting againts teams with loosing records with same talent and coaches. Know I hear people used reason for edwards bad play to bad coaching or bad line play. Why is O.K. to blame coach or talent for one QBs bad play, but not O.K. for other QBs play? Both QBs had the same coach and talent around them. One played tougher teams, one didn't. One Qb got sack alot ,while the other doesn't throw enough Tds. Big Ben got sack alot and Steeler still win SuperBowl. Trent Dilfer didn't throw alot of Tds, but Ravens won SuperBowl. What both Steelers and Ravins had was great defenses. Yea Qbs win games ,but also defense can to. Also special teams can win games. Someone like Devon Hester could run a kickoff back for a winning TD. Or kicker could kick a winning FG with time running out. Its a team sport.
  21. Now lets put down W and L records of the teams each guy started againts. Edwards 2007 64 wins and 80 lost Edwards 2008 85 wins and 123 lost total 149 wins and 203 lost "impressive" Losman 2007 68 wins and 44 lost Losman 2008 20 wins and 12 lost total 88 wins and 56 lost Sounds like with the same overall talent for both QBs, Edwards had a better oppurtunity to win games than Losman. I'm talking with the same coach and talent on field. Maybe thats why Edwards was 12-11 as a starter. I still don't understand how you can give QBs win and lost record when its a team sport.
  22. How does he have a winning record? I thought they're 11 players on offense and defense. I thought this is a team sport. Can we put down the total win, lost records of the teams we beat when he was a starting QB since his rookie year. You'll find out that we won those games, because we had better overall talent. That funny, everytime I here about his won and lost record.
  23. Maybe they can be our new Joe DeLamielleure and Reggie McKenzie. The best guard tandem we ever had.
  24. I was watching NFL network and they were talking about Jason Campbell qb of the Redskins. He started off with 8 tds and 0 int. the first eight games and a QB rating of 100. The second half year 5 tds and 6 int. and 70 qb rating. they said he only had 6 int. in over 500 att. They said that tells them that he doesn't throw down field enough. If he threw more down field he be a better qb. Better start than Edwards had first 8 games and second half about the same as Edwards. Campbell doesn't turn the ball over very much 6 int in 500 att. Thats very good. So why do the Redskins want to give up on this kid? Isn't this the same reason people worship Edwards, because he doesn't turn over the ball? And one of the problems they have with Cambell is he doesn't throw down field enough. Doesn't that make him a smart qb? They have Santana Moss who is another Lee Evans. Both starting recievers are 5' 10''. Plus a pretty good te in Chris Cooley. I think a Qb like that is good if you have a great defense. but you can't settle for F.G.s, when the other team is scoring T.Ds. Thats a problem with Edwards can't get us in the endzone. Sure he doesn't turn the ball over but I want T.Ds. He has to take more chances down field.
  25. He should be with the starting recievers he has. If he can't with these guys, than he shouldn't be starting.
