That's because conspiracy theories that are proven correct garner all the attention while over 99% are bs.  At least that's what Hitler told me on my childhood trip to Brazil.

Although your ratio is obviously exaggerated immensely to help drive home your point that even though sometimes outlandish sounding claims end up being true, many times they’re just incorrect stories, I do agree with you.

My point wasn’t to say every story or claim made is true, it was simply to say the conspiracy theory label is thrown around by some people who’d rather not think critically or question their own belief system.

People can create "studies" to fit whatever narrative they want. Nothing against black people because white jurors do it too , it's called racial bias. I'm not saying everyone,  but if you think there isn't racial bias then you're sadly mistaken. Having that many minorities as jurors certainly wasn't a bad thing.

Theses studies are actually just results of trials with different jury compositions, there’s nothing to manipulate. I’m the most anti woke poster on this board, but the black jury wouldn’t convict a black defendant just isn’t factual.

The prosecution lost this case horribly.

The fact that the jury consisted of 8 blacks, 2 Hispanics, 1 half-Caucasian, half Native American, and 1 Caucasian female…..then the lead investigator, Mark Fuhrman, lying about using the N word…..and the prosecutor’s stupid tactic of making OJ try the glove on led to the not guilty verdict. Plain and simple.

The jury composition argument has been debunked with studies, blacks convict blacks just like whites convict whites… they lost because one of the lead investigators was a blatant racist and the prosecution decided to have OJ try on gloves in front of the jury for some crazy reason.

Obviously McVay's offense WILL feature SOMEone in that ultra-productive Z/move-WR role, year after year. He's especially good at designing production. Give him a healthy Atwell and Cupp to go with Nacua, and you'll see fireworks.

He IS entering the final year of his rookie deal, right? Will they pay BOTH OTs big money in 2025? After 2023, Brown isn't on a bargain FA RT trajectory (if he continues to develop or even if he just plateaus where he's at). Of course you'd prefer to see the org re-sign the guy they saw the value in and worked to develop. But you can't keep them all.

While I agree with you that you’re not gonna be able to keep them all, I’m just of the belief that the position you lean towards keeping is young upstart offensive linemen and you protect your most valuable asset in #17.

Trim the fat from another position group IMHO.

Could we try for Puka Nacua?

LOL that's a TBD special.  "This player's no good, therefore let's trade him for a high pick!"  because you know, if a player is genuinely limited surely some other GM will give you a sack 'o draft valuata......

We traded Cordy Glenn, who was a very good LT when not injured as follows: "On March 12, 2018, the Bills agreed to trade Glenn, the 21st overall pick in the 2018 NFL draft, and a 2018 fifth round pick to the Cincinnati Bengals in exchange for the 2018 12th overall pick and a 2018 sixth round pick"

So basically, Glenn plus a 5th/6th pick swap moved us up 9 spots.  IF we value Brown, a RT, the same (that's an 'if'), he'd get us from 28 to 19....no where near 10.

Yeah then I’m out on that, Brown is progressing nicely.

  7. This board quickly went from Spencer Brown is a bust to let’s use Spencer Brown in a 1st round trade up lol.

Im starting to think people just don’t like Spencer Brown, is there some video out there of him saying or doing stupid sh*t that I haven’t seen ?

If he helps you get into the top 10 then I’m on board, otherwise I like where Brown’s game is heading.

  9. With the 98th pick, the Pittsburgh Steelers select, Christian Jones, OL, Texas.

The Steelers decide to add another much needed piece to the oline competition by adding the Texas RT in hopes he can help stabilize the front along with 1st round selection JPJ.

@GunnerBilland the LA Rams are now on the clock.

  10. With the 84th pick in the 2024 NFL draft the Pittsburgh Steelers select DeWayne CarterDTDuke

After getting what they believe to be immediate starters in the first two rounds the Steelers believe Carter comes with upside and untapped potential.

@BarleyNYand the Cleveland Browns area now on the clock.

I've never understood the "Diggs has attitude" narrative except from what I've seen: he hates losing.  I think we need more players like that, not less. And now we have none.

Josh plays like he hates losing. Sometimes that leads to mistakes, sometimes heroics. But when we lose Josh isn't much of a leader. He develops that 1000 yard stare, that look like a kid you took off his Adderall and he just goes-blank. Not inspiring.

Our coach claps after every play, good or bad, and his main leadership style when we lose is-find someone to lay the blame on.  Still hasn't owned up to 13 seconds. I give credit to McDermott for bringing winning back to Buffalo and making us a playoff team. I'm not of the fire McDermott crowd because I don't have a better replacement. But if we win a Superbowl it's despite his leadership, not because of it.

Matt Milano plays like he hates losing, but he's not vocal, Jordan Poyer also played like he hated losing, but he's physically done and gone.

Von Miller isn't capable of playing like he hates losing anymore, though he had it once.

The rest of our roster is made of above-average guys, but nobody exceptional.  Maybe our new CB, Douglas.  And I love watching the Bills win, and our winning seasons. I still have confidence there. But we are missing something to get us over KC and other teams are nipping at our heels.  I think we are going to miss Diggs, and it would have been better to have one more year of Diggs and a rookie late first round WR who upgrades Gabe Davis then expecting a rookie to come in and play like a top five league wide WR.

If you're a "believe in the great white hope" Kinkaid that was a nice pickup, but he averages 9 yards per reception. He's not a game changer.  And Curtis Samuel is a slot receiver-which we finally developed in Khalil Shakir. Going into next year if we are lucky we will have a #2 receiver in our rookie, two exceptional #3 receivers in Khalil and Samuel, a #4 in Hollins, and two tight ends we don't know how to use.  The strategy to earn 11 yards per 3 downs (out to Kinkaid for 8, Cook runs for -2 to 1 yars as they know he is coming on second down, Josh has to bull ahead for 1-4 yards every 3 down) no chunk yardage, move down the field slowly- will get Josh injured and often leaves more room for offensive turnovers. It didn't work last year when KC at will can gain 20 yards a play.

The HOF has plenty of white TEs, the league as it stands now with Kelce, Kittle, Laporta and many others is represented by top end TE talent.

Not sure why “the great white hope” catch phrase is relevant, if Kincaid were a RB or CB then I guess it applies but TE ?

Is any fanbase more in sync with their team? More emotionally wedded to their team? More anxious when the heart of the team maybe doesn't feel quite... in rhythm?

This may be hyperbole,  but I feel as if BB MD is using the body of Buffalo Bills Fandom as a gauge for the extent to which the heart of this team; players AND coaches,  can be resuscitated.  A lot of people here have said it,  not just me... I've never been more anguished; and more in grief over this team, than I was in January.  I had to completely unplug.  I'm sure the team sees it on social media, call in shows,  podcast streams,  etc. For many,  the extreme detachment this year was real.

I get it... the salary cap is real; but Beane did not have to be so hardcore about it...   Well,  like I began to say; Beane got out the AED machine... Assuming the TV shows are right,  the first shock is not the strongest.   You want to make sure you don't over shock the system. But... you do come in strong... make the ticking time and effort worth a try.  CLEAR!!!!!   (Poyer, Morse, Hyde) thump...  no reaction from the body.

CLEAR!!!!!   (Davis, Neal, Jackson,   Matakevitch, Von Miller paycut)   thump...   no reaction

CLEAR!!  (Tre White)  the body shifts a bit...  still not enough.

    CLEAR!!!  (Diggs trade!)

And at last... the body of the Buffalo Bills Fanbase is convulsing on the table: spitting,  trembling and groaning,  but the pulse is back people!  The will to fight together again... to live another day and struggle for survival and success. Put another way,... they've hooked me again,  lol

I loved this angle, well done lol

With all respect, that's not enough.  4 guys getting 900 yds is 3,600 yds.  That would represent a 700 yd dip in what was already a second "down year" for Allen with only 4300 yds passing.

It would also be asking a 7 year vet to exceed his previous career year (possible), asking Shakir AND Kincaid to jump 50% in their production, AND asking a 3rd guy to step into the mix and push 1000 yds.

lol how far we’ve come when 4300 yards is a down year… please never leave us 17, I don’t wanna ever go back

The thing is the media has to be able to stand up stories. I am sure they had all heard the same stuff about the Allen - Diggs relationship that a lot of us had. Some of them have been shared on this board over the last year or so. But the media can't just throw rumours out there. When your sources tell you stuff off the record it is off the record and if you can't substantiate it elsewhere you can't print it... or at least you take risks when you do. The number of questions that the beat guys asked both Allen and Diggs about it last summer is sufficient proof to me that they knew but both players were publicly still giving it the "brothers" line. What did you want them to do? Accuse both players of lying based on things they had been told off the record?

This was local media towing the company line in exchange for good relations and team/player access, I’m not knocking them for it, it’s perfectly reasonable they’d want to maintain that relationship.

The National media had no such conflict of interest and thus the reason why you seen them continue to report on the rift and divide even after the Diggs/Allen and management told the local media everything was fine.
