Yeah, not sure why I was assuming the original post was regular season only (which is what my list was). But even adding the playoffs (for just Josh and Aaron), I still get Rodgers just barely ahead in TDs/Touch for some reason (they both have performed well in the playoffs over the years). But as I said before, it doesn't really matter either way, it's so close, and because Josh will be clearly in front at some point this season, if he isn't already. And I'm not trying to take anything away from Josh. Obviously, in just 7 seasons, one of the best ever already.

Not disinterested, no. But in 2015 and 2016 I did not enjoy watching the team. I hated Rex Ryan with a passion. And I found Tyrod a tough watch. They sucked all the joy out.

lol I was yelling at my dad while the clock wound down in the Jags playoff game  “I don’t ever want to see this *** in a Bills uniform ever again”

I got my wish, thankfully lol.

Tom Brady had a dad bod early on as well. Look at his infamous combine photo. He didn't get into the crazy nutrition and body stuff until later in his career.

True, But he wasn’t fat and didn’t need to and once he aged he decided it’s best to have a plan for health and nutrition. Onelook in the mirror for Mahomes and he knows he should be looking after his body and he’s decided he’s good, and who can argue with his results ?

  4. I get it, Mahomes just isn’t a dude that’s going to focus on nutrition and his body like a Tom Brady, maybe it ultimately shortens the duration of his greatness because of it.

After his career is over he’ll probably be fat as fawk, but as of now he’s still that dude.

I lot of fans agree that the Bills skill position groups (minus QB) deserve to be ranked in the 20s.

I wonder if these are the same folks who want to fire McD for not getting to the SB despite our shortcomings at WR, TE, and RB (and elsewhere).

And if they're the same people who don't want to fire Beane despite some of the challenges he's had with roster-building.

I'm not pointing fingers or blaming anyone.  Just curious.  Despite some poor decisions over the years, I personally find it hard to blame McD for not winning us a Lombardi when he's never been given a Lombardi caliber roster.

I agree about the lack of a SB calibre roster, but it’s really hard to forgive McDermott for pooping down his own leg in the 2021 playoffs when Allen was on the greatest playoff heater of all time with 9TDs 0 turnovers and was sent home.

I’ve forgiven him and believe he’s a much better coach now than he was then, I’m hoping he can do it, I think he can.

  6. Lemme guess, it’s the “they’re greater than the sum of their parts” nonsense whenever they want to explain away why none of the players are highly regarded in their eyes.

God forbid they asks themselves if it’s possible they’ve undervalued some of the players on that 3rd ranked unit.

Congrats on the new addition. This changes EVERYTHING in your life. I wonder if he will take a 6-8 week paternity leave like the “kids” do these days?

I kid, but my son went back to work about a month sooner than another dad with similar timing. Maybe that came in with gender reveal parties and I didn’t notice?  🤷‍♂️

6-8 weeks lol… up here in Ontario mothers or fathers can take a year…. I’ve worked with a dude that just had babies for a 5-7 year stretch and we barely seen him lol…

unfortunately for myself, all my kids were born from 88-2001 long before parental leave was a thing.

    It's kiper

And again nobody was downplaying Josh Allen's potential .. even the scouts and pundits who thought he would not make it

All agreed he had tremendous talent just thought he had too many flaws to correct at the NFL level

There's a difference between having tremendous talent versus being polished

.. quarterbacks go in the top 10 every year with tremendous talent and 70% of them bust lol

People's couldn't stop raving about Zack Wilson's talent and he went top three.. and didn't last two seasons in New York

That could have been Josh Allen's fate if it wasn't for his work ethic and for our coaching staff... But guess what  most quarterbacks have good work ethics especially if they're going in the top 10 and plenty of them still bust

Josh Allen deserves credit but so does our coaching staff including Sean McDermott

You’re correct, most QBs do have good work ethic, it’s just none of them have ever had the otherworldly physical talents that 17 has to work with.

Like I said, McDermott is an excellent coach but Allen was riding a rocket ship that he was piloting and that was gonna be with or without McDermott going along for the ride.

Coach got very lucky on draft day and he’d be the 1st to admit it lol.

That is the farthest thing from fact

Remember going 17 years without playoffs? You remember the roster McDermott took us to the playoffs with?

Do you remember that Josh Allen was considered one of the rawest quarterback prospects ever who had a huge bust potential? We took a kid who had a massive chance of flopping and they groomed him

Sean McDermott has been there every step of the way he deserves credit for helping mold Josh Allen into player he is.. he is the head coach and around Josh every single day and been a calming study influence

He literally took a kid people thought shouldn't be drafted in the top 10 and helped coach him into a superstar

And some people(Kyper) thought Allen should be the 1st overall pick in a loaded QB class.

McDermott is an excellent coach, if he were fired, he would have a job of his choosing before cleaning out his office, but let’s not pretend he’s some QB whisperer lol.

Allen’s incredible self belief, evidenced by his collegiate origin story coupled with offseason determination to get better every year and his historic physical talents are the reason he’s turned himself into the leagues QB1.
