  1. I agree. If Walker drops just a bit of weight he should be even better than last year and I'm just hoping that Butler can step in at RT. Combining that with a greatly improved interior, assuming Wood plays to his potential at LG and Levitre plays well at RG and I think we can all agree that basically anyone is better at C than Fowler or Preston, we should have a capable line next year. The O-line was one of my primary concerns going into the draft but I'm feeling ok about it now...
  2. I actually liked Gaines..he was more productive in limited action than Royal was and he is a big TE who can block. I say sign him and let him and schouman battle it out for a spot on the roster
  3. maybe the bears? http://www.realgmfootball.com/src_wiretap_...l_in_2nd_round/
  4. I'm in the market for a Steve Johnson jersey this year I think
  5. Yeah, I could see all of the guys you included in these two polls making the team easily (Quick edit: I forgot about Ko..he'll prob be cut)
  6. Yeah but what I'm saying is that I wonder how many first or second round "reaches" underperform and become "busts"?
  7. Probably not many. But how many players who turn out to be considered busts were actually reaches? I think that's the better question... I'm sure a lot more "reaches" turn out to be busts than HOFers...
  8. Has Nelson as a steal: "Shawn Nelson/TE/Buffalo/4th round: Nelson was a legitimate second-round talent but his marginal blocking skills pushed him down draft boards. He's a vertical threat who will see action as a rookie." and Byrd as a reach: "Jairus Byrd/CB/Buffalo/2nd Round: Byrd ran pedestrian times in the 4.6 range during his pro-day workout. He's a solid prospect , but there were at least a half dozen higher-rated cornerbacks available to the Bills when they selected him at the top of Round 2." Also of note has Mack as a reach at 21 and Orakpo as a steal at 13... http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2009/foot...ex.html?eref=T1
  9. I agree. I wouldn't call us stacked at DB either but it was not a need as much as say an OT or a DT.
  10. Me too...I see Maybin starting on the Outside, probably as Sam and moving Mitchell to the weakside
  11. This would never happen. Not ever. As long as there is Football, the Superbowl would never be played in London (let alone outside of the US). Never.
  12. Brown is a great player and I'd be pumped if he would slip to 28 (not sure how likely that is though)
  13. I was at the FSU, Clemson game this past year in Tallahassee and he was killing the Tigers
  14. "DE LB TE" a post from April 22. I hope he's right but would also like to see OT taken early on... http://twitter.com/DonteWhitner
  15. IMO we can't take a TE at all with the 11th pick. We have way too many needs on both lines to be worried about getting the top rated TE with the 11th pick. We can use the 28th pick or the 42nd for TE.
  16. It doesn't look that bad but I would rather take an OT before round 4 and I don't think we need to use one of our first round picks on TE
  17. When his suspension was first announced I read that he was planning on appealing but I haven't heard anything since then.
  18. As far as the first three picks in this mock go, I would be happy. I'd like to see a TE taken in the third though...
  19. I like Roscoe as a punt returner for sure but I don't think he is really an offensive weapon at all in our scheme now that we have TO. I think the issue is not trying to replace him with a 5th round pick (because we don't really need to replace him) I think the issue is freeing up some salary room. I believe he is set to make a little more tha $3 million for each of his next three seasons in base salary (not sure about bonuses).
  20. Nope. I was talking about Jonathan Scott, an OT and a true "what's his name?"... And I think I was right about the reasons. Those being that the Bills didn't want to pay him the $$ he demanded. I was just saying they signed Scott to add some depth to the position.
  21. I just want to say that I was right... I caught a lot of heat for saying I thought they would trade him back then http://www.stadiumwall.com/index.php?showtopic=79517&hl=
