  1. I think Trent will excel in a no-huddle. He reads defenses well and is able to check down to other options when necessary. The big questions are whether Dick/Turk can run it (we saw a few huge clock management blunders last year). The O-ine is also still a question mark. I know a lot of people have hope for this new revamped line (including me) but we simply don't know how good they will be. All things considered, I'm optimistic about the no-huddle (don't know if I would call it the T-Gun ). Hopefully whatever we do this year is better than the last few... Edit: I forgot to mention our new receiving corps. Having TO out there in combination with Lee and throw in Reed and Johnsn in the slot, Trent should have plenty of options.
  2. Well, we've been waiting 5 years for a receiving threat opposite of Lee. Hopefully he explodes this season.
  3. good read. Thanks for posting. I like what TO said about not caring who is #1 or #2. I just wonder how much of that is for real and how much is BS...
  4. No way! They gave up way to many sacks to be considered "above average" in pass protection. Also, when you are the heaviest O-line in the NFL, I would hope you can at least run block... 4+ ypc is not terrible but a lot of that work was done by Beast Mode after the first hit...
  5. yeah, it's a real bummer that we overhauled an extremely under performing and (in the case of Dockery) overpaid O-line...
  6. He was released from the Bucs earlier this year and I think he would be a good fit for the Bills and provide some good veteran leadership on the Defensive side of the ball. He played in the Cover 2 in Tampa and should be able to fit in quickly with the Bills cover 2 and would def be an upgrade even if he only has a year or two left (he's 36 or something I think). I would try to sign him to a one or two year contract and see if it works out. What do you guys think? http://bleacherreport.com/articles/173503-...-becoming-fewer
  7. I know a lot of people have cited Golisano as a possible money source/investor to help keep the Bills in Western NY. Now that he's leaving do you think this affects the future of the Bills? He says he will remain owner of Sabres but I'm just wondering if he will be interested in putting money up for the Bills now. I'm thinking probably not but maybe since he will be saving millions of dollars in taxes by moving to Fl... http://www.buffalonews.com/cityregion/story/672153.html
  8. Are you kidding me? They are both at least in top 20...though not 6 and 8, imho... more like 10 and 15 ish...
  9. That was a good read. I'm hoping these guys mesh well and play as tough as everyone says they are
  10. yep and hopefully Walker can drop a few pounds. Only question is, will the rookies be as good as people say they can be?
  11. How about Russert? call him russ for short...
  12. I'm comfortable with Stroud and Kyle at DT. They're both real sold and I thinnk will even immprove over last year
  13. aren't the number 1 and number 2 receivers both considered starters? Also, I wouldn't automatically say that TO is number 1 above Lee just yet... They're both bona fide number 1 threats imho
  14. cool thanks! I just saw this article about player ratings ion new madden...sounds pretty interesting http://insideblog.easports.com/archive/200...-a-new-era.aspx

  16. Williams is [probably the best value pick from 06 and Donte is solid but still not sure he was worth 8...
