  1. Also the drafted players aren't memebers of the "union" till they sign their 1st contract. Only 10-15 players ,per year, get to walk out on that stage. Why would the union want to take this away from the draftees and the famalies after all their hard work. The 'union' is looking dumber and dumber by the day.
  2. He wont be answering the phone. He'll either be napping or he'll have the selection run up to the podium with .05 seconds removed from the allotted 10 minutes.
  3. Hey, lookie another trade down post, awesome! Nix has stated publicly that he wont trade down.
  4. "Though there's only a 10% chance of that"
  5. Stuff like this just leaves the NFL a black eye. Money doesn't make you smarter or change what you are.
  6. I agree but QB> CB just please no more DB's. It'll feel like Detroit with all those dam Wr's
  7. 85 was the best by far and 2000 could be the worst but there are so may to choose from! Also does anyone remember how we ended up w 2 1's, 2 2's, 2 3's & 2 4's in 1985? that looks like NE* this year.
  8. Even RW doesnt have enough cash to fix all the 'wrongs' he and his front office have made.
  9. Sofia Vergara.. Check out Modern Family!
  10. I couldn't agree more! Another angle, when you draft BPA and you load up on talent in one position it weakens you hand when you try to unload/deal other qualilty players to other teams. ALA M. Lynch. So maybe take less in trade and possibly trade trade down when BPA isn't a position of need. If we draft Peterson i'll have to get a new TV.
  11. You are close but its more like this: 1) Profit 2) Afternoon naps 3) I like bottles over drafts, oh that draft. I like to pick backs, running and defensive
  12. Throw in Kyle Williams or next year's 2nd... Just about anybody on this current roster even fitzgibbons
  13. Love would fit in nicely with Wood, Levitre & Wang. I know there is a joke in there somewhere.
  14. Good 1st post. I would love to see Harris in red white and blue. Just a couple of issues : 1st no need to draft a punter (already mentioned) 2nd Gaither can't seemt to stay healthy so i'd pass, and 3rd NO WAY MAYBIN makes the team next year especially as a backup and Moats seems to have more potential.
  15. But didn't the meddling owner say we need a QB?
  16. I wouldn't trade him to NE. Plus we could get at least a 2nd round pick since he was once considered a top ten pick. Maybe The Redskins, Browns or Carolina. The all need QB help.
  17. So bye bye Maybin or McCargo.
  18. The man is due to miss on a few picks every now and then. He has a solid team and can afford to do so. Also let's not forget that those "awful picks" ocurred @ # 28 or higher (just guessing as I didn;t look up the actual draft position of the Colts for the last 4 years.) He didn;t miss like we did @ #'s 10,11 & 12 the last few years.
  19. Mayock's mock draft had the Bills taking Maybin. He had Orakpo going @ 18.
  20. It's not a field rule but I would change the ownership rule to allow teams to be publically held ala Green Bay. Who wouldn't want to own a piece of your favorite team.
  21. I would love to get a hold the e-mails of most of the people on that list. Also when you takes sides with an accountant over operational people you are a miser. You have to spend money to make money. There are maybe 500 football people in the world, of which 10 might be great at it. And he picks the accountant of which there might be 10000 that are great. Nah couldnt find a replacement for the accountnant position.
  22. This is the best line of the week! Maybe the year. 50/50, of course there's only a 10% chance of that. This may be better than thinking Maybin will eventually become a NFL caliber LB.
  23. I understand, but 98% of the time its whiney and NEGATIVE. He now thinks Spiller was a reach @ 9? WTF? We should have cut Lynch when he didn't show up for the OTA'? Um we got draft picks for LYnch that's why you don't cut him! D-bag
