I'm only 32, and my Bills memories actually start in 1994 when we pasted the Dolphins in an ESPN Sunday Night Football game. Since that time, here are my top 15 most-heartbreaking Bills moments. What am I missing? I recall all of these so vividly.
1996 Jaguars (playoffs, Kelly injured)
1998 @ Patriots ("Just give it to 'em")
1998 @ Dolphins (playoffs, Moulds fumble)
1999 @ Titans ("Music City Miracle")
2004 Steelers (miss playoffs, lose to backups and third stringers)
2007 Cowboys (MNF "classic")
2007 Patriots (flexed to SNF at home, lose 56-10)
2008 Browns (MNF Lindell missed field goal)
2009 @ Patriots (McKelvin fumble)
2010 Steelers (Stevie Johnson OT drop)
2013 Patriots (23-21 season opener)
2015 Jaguars (London)
2016 Dolphins (OT, no playoffs, Rex fired)
2019 @ Texans (playoffs)
2020 @ CardinalsNorwood Wide Right in the first Super Bowl against the Giants and second place is so far down its like triple the distance of the CN Tower to the ground...

I am not sure why Dane Jackson isn't the permanent 2nd CB with the way he has played...

In the offseason, I couldn't believe anyone was writing off the Dolphins. They had a depleted roster last year, but played hard for their coach (who I think is excellent). The restocked in the offseason, and had a solid draft.
Looks like we're back in the early/mid 90s. Bills and Dolphins duking it out for the AFC East.
But, to your point, we need them to lose 3 of the next 7 to be safe. Then the Bills have to do their part.
Flores is a very good coach. Probably the best of the ones off the Belichick tree by far. This year I think we are simply better than they are talent wise but with their 2 high picks from the Texans in next years draft they could close the talent gap significantly or maybe even pull even.
Patriots will have a lot of Covid opt out players back as well so it won't get any easier.

It wasn't lucky, he makes those types of plays a lot...he high points the ball and beings it down in traffic. Normally not in a Hail Mary situation but he has caught the ball and scored with White draped all over him when he was with the Texans too...
Just a great play by a great player. It happens. It wasn't a playoff game, we still are alive.

I have a feeling division is going to come down to Miami @ Buffalo last week of season in blizzard.
Wouldn't count on a blizzard this year. Temps are predicted to be much above normal this year. Several years ago when they gave a similar outlook it was in the mid 60s on Xmas Eve...

Is it me or has Singletary been a shell of himself this season? Last season he was dynamic making plays left and right and in the playoffs he was our best player IMO. He has lacked any play making ability this season and I can’t even remember a major play he has made. Maybe my brain is just fried or I had too high of expectations, but he has felt like a non factor to an bad extent
Hard to make plays when you are constantly dodging players in the backfield...our run blocking has been atrocious for the most part.

I’ll disagree with 2 bad INTs. Some might disagree with me, but Davis ran a brutal route on that 2nd pick. He got loose and sloppy and let Kirkpatrick beat him to the inside.
Other than that, great stuff as per usual.
Allen's ball placement on that throw was terrible. If he threw it out in front of Davis it is a long catch and run because Kirkpatrick was going for the INT and likely whiffs on the tackle.
Allen threw it slightly behind Davis which gave Kirkpatrick time to catch up to it. A good throw and its a completed pass and a long gain.

I mentioned this to my buddy during the game, but three 50+ yard field goals in one half has to at least tie for a record, if there is such a record.
I looked for confirmation but came up empty. Anyone more familiar than I with the NFL research interwebs have an answer?3 50+ yard FGs tied the NFL record for a game last done by Josh Scobee along with 5 others.
The only other kicker to make 3 that were 54 or longer was Kris Brown for the Texans.
Not sure if this is a record for a single half or not.

would prefer the division to not come down to week 17.
So would I but what can you do? Miami caught some teams at the right time this year and go some fluky wins.

The whole D hasn't played great this year. The front 4 aren't getting to the QB as much. Also the Bills are playing far better QBs and not getting 3rd stringers leading bad offenses like last year every other game.
Defenses are getting torched this year around the whole NFL.
-
I really though some toss plays to the outside would have gashed them pretty good when they kept coming up the middle...
Feliciano didn't seem to help the run game much today.

miami will be 7-3 by this time next week..the following week they play the jets so things in the division are extremely tight. this loss hurts so much because that diggs touchdown would have been something we talked about for years now it gets lost. tough day for the bills
We have every tie break with them right now and the head to head win earlier. It will.come down to week 17 and I like our chances. Allen torches Miami unlike any other team we play.

Yeah those were ridiculous.

The amount of ridiculous, mind numbing threads that get started within 24 hours(and especially right after the games) of a loss are just out of control.
Can we please implement a feature preventing posters who post mind numbing content from posting within 24 hours of a game?? Things like fire the whole coaching staff because the other team completes a miracle Hail Mary to win the game?

Can we please start preventing people creating ridiculous posts from posting within 24 hours of a loss. Makes my brain hurt reading some of these threads starting after the game.

There needs to be certain posters that are banned from posting within 24 hours of a loss due to ridiculous threads like this.
OP is obviously one of these people.

Were not expecting hail Mary there necessarily. They had time for 2 plays
I think it only turned into a hail mary because Addison chased Murray and almost got the sack and forced him to just chuck it up there

They sure did. How do you think they blew the 14 point lead.
They lost the game on a fluke hail mary at the end of the game. The posts people make after losses should get them sent to timeout.
-
Who cares. They didn't lose the game because of their run defense. It's honestly irrelevant.

Hops hands were highest. That’s it unfortunately....
Yeah, I mean Hopkins is bigger and taller and he high pointed the ball. It was a perfect throw up high. What can you do?

I'm riled up. Did you see how we lost the game? Our 3 best defenders couldn't stop the catch. That was embarrassing
I don't know how a Bills fan can watch that and not be riled up. What a joke.
Because the other guys get paid too. Hopkins is their best guy and the ball was thrown by their other best guy.
Sometimes they make great plays too. Tip your hat to them and move forward.

a few thoughts about the cardinals game, in no particular order

Another thought...
Why is Dane Jackson not the starter opposite White? All this kid does is make plays when he is in the game. Better than watching Wallace give up uncontested 15 yard completions so he can come up and make the tackle.
Also, most people expected us to go 1-1 against the Seahawks and Cards but expected the win and loss to be reversed.
