I mean...look at the perfect form...get down in the proper stance...dig in...watch as the play develops...prepare for an extended clapping session...then clap through the entire aftermath of the play... You just can't do it any better than that! I hope all the young coaches out there are taking notes on this.

How did we do against Denver in 2020 with his great D?
-
Because they blitzed more than anyone else sending everyone.

At the very least should be able to confuse their blocking assignments and get some free runners with the crowd noise and lack of continuity on the line. A lot of issues caused by backups linemen isn't from getting beat by their man(which does happen a lot tho), it comes from not being on the same page with the guy next to you in terms of protection calls, changes in protection and blocking the right guy, etc... Made much worse when you are on a silent snap count and cannot communicate with the guy next to you.

college talent and translation to the NFL - offense vs. defense
Big Turk replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall
IMO offense requires a lot more thinking that can give players who use better technique and their savvy an advantage over simply athletic freaks, but on D, it's a lot more about athleticism and speed. Just my take. You can make up for being in the wrong spot with athleticism and speed on defense much better than you can on offense. -
That might kill you against Allen who is an escape artist even against teams that are good at getting sacks most games. Especially if you allow him to escape to his right and extend the play... What typically happens is a guy just breaks off his route and goes deep and then the DB kinda slows up and watches Allen because he thinks "there is no way he can be running and still throw the ball over my head from that far" and that if he throws it he can get the INT on a ball that comes up short. But as we have seen many many times...oh yes...yes he can throw it over your head that far. He has unlimited range throwing the ball downfield. If a guy gets behind the defender, he can throw it to him from anywhere on the field. Then if you defend deep, he takes off and outruns your LB's and stiffarms/trucks your DBs. Or in some cases just leaps over them. The best bet is to try and contain him in the pocket and force him to make "regular" plays rather than off-schedule ones because that is where he can hurt you the most.

Man, I injured my patellar tendon from squatting when my knee buckled and I probably should have had surgery and didn't. I can tell you it still bothers me to this day with only the slightest aggravation to it. This dude is going to be in a world of hurt at some point and it isn't going to take much for it to happen.

Wow...that's funny. We have a Bengals fan who watches every game saying they HAVEN'T played well in a month. But I guess you know more even tho you never have watched any of their games most likely? You and AirTroll should hang out at the Bills game and talk about how bad the Bills are and how they are going to lose every game. Think he was talking about the Bengals.
