I believe Taylor wanted to make sure he knew they were with him and that the Bills wouldn't be forced to forfeit because they would refuse to play also.

I think too many people feel their "best life" is from monetary and material things but end up realizing, hopefully not too late, some of the wealthiest people with the most material things are some of the poorest people there are. It's taken everything they had to obtain it and once they look back there is nothing left of anything else...family, relationships, friends, etc...

Haven't looked forward to this Sabres game tonight as a much needed distraction in a long time.

Here is something else nobody really thinks of... How often is that AED equipment actually checked? God forbid what would have happened if the equipment wasn't charged or it was faulty due to not being checked for months or years? Are those things regularly inspected? IMHO, if it isn't being done already, that should be a required thing to have functioning prior to a game being allowed to start now.

Kinda like the same they looked like against the Pats and then did nothingin the 2nd half? Cincy does a lot of that...they look great for a half but then don't score much the other half. Hell, even the Bills have done that. Nothing could really be "figured" out from what we saw to start.

I was 12 or 13 at the time...I almost passed out and can remember RJ screaming to get the cameras off of him and not show the replay and that anyone who wanted to see it again was sick.

The only thing I can compare this to watching live was the Clint Malarchuk incident with the Sabres...same type of desperation where every second counted with the medical professionals on the scene...same feeling in the pit of your stomach that made you want to vomit...same helplessness as a human being watching that...

Mike Tomlin is cut from the same cloth as McD...played on the same team...great coach, great leader and an even better human being

And even once we get some indication of his prognosis, we may not know the full extent of it for weeks or months once any sort of rehab or therapy may need to start.

The report right before the Hamlin play happened was he was being evaluated for a head injury and his return was questionable.

There is no rule change that can prevent what happened...it was just a freak occurrence...a hit that occurred in the exact location needed at the right time with enough force to cause that issue...I don't see anything they can do short of potentially requiring some protection for that area in the jersey/padding, etc...

Still haven't eaten since it happened and feel like I want to vomit when I think about food...
