WNY really is a great place to live. Maybe not to party and sow wild oats, but to live and raise a family it can't be beat. I would prefer shorter winters, but we really don't get hurricanes, tornados, plagues of bugs, dangerous animals, traffic, etc.
Ever been to Chippewa on a weekend? Tons of hot slutty girls wanting to play hide the sausage with random guys...if you can't get laid there, you got issues, lol

Geno looked like a hot mess for much of the game yesterday...running around after a second or two when his first read wasn't open, not sensing pressure, etc...
Made a few nice throws but I mean he looked like an unprepared rookie for much of the game...
-
American side of the Falls is surrounded by ghetto, Canadian side is amazingly fun...Clifton Hills is like the Las Vegas strip in the summer...takes an hour to go around the block...
However there are quite a few things to.do in the area...Niagara Gorge, Lewiston has some breathtaking views and Old Fort Niagara is at least a half day worth spending there...plus its supposedly haunted...
I agree with the area itself surrounding the Falls but not the surrounding villages and towns, quite a bit of stuff to do but most out of owner's probably don't know about it
-
Geno is looking pretty bad now...probably the 5th or 6th time he takes off scrambling backwards when he should have stood in the pocket or stepped up to buy time...
EJ looks light years ahead of this guy in being able to go through progressions and stand in there to make throws consistently
-
Geno has made a few nice throws so far, but he really has happy feet and runs around a lot at the slightest hint of pressure...

The Bills actually used to have trouble filling the Ralph for playoff games when we were a winning franchise. Maybe Ralph was onto something with the losing product: Hope sells.
That also was back when we needed 80,000 for a sellout and was one of the biggest stadiums in the league at the time

Cleveland has some pretty authentic Chinese food in that part of town. I ate some seriously authentic dim sum there once.
How was their sum ting Wong?

Yes, we are in a good to very good cap situation in relation to the rest of the NFL no matter how you slice it.
Only 10 teams have more cap room than the Bills next year, and most of those have 6-7 fewer players under contract, and one only has 28! Players under contract.

in addition to the ones already mentioned:
jills come to your home or office.
a photo op at bills logo middle of field.
in studio for the john murphy radio show.
birthday party in a suite.
$40 gift card towards bills apparel.
Do you get your choice of Jill's to give them a personal extended tour of your bedroom?

Just a few personal thoughts:
First, NFL rewind was a great investment. I saw the game muted at a sports bar and was very distracted while watching so I didn't exactly get the full feel. On rewind, you can watch the entire broadcast without commercials, or a condensed version where they just blow through every play back to back. Pretty awesome...
Second...WOW I know we lost, but I was very surprised at how poorly we actually played. Our defense was BEAST though for how many times we gave it to the pats. But our offense....really? We only had two scores, both with good field position to begin with. The penalties absolutely killed us...every time we got on a roll it was negated by a stupid penalty.
Finally, Spiller: I have to admit, I stopped watching half way through the third quarter. I figured I would save myself the disappointment of seeing EJ go 3 and out every drive. But as for Spiller...I didn't seem to think he played as bad as his stats would indicate. Definitely got stopped up at the line way too many times but that's not always his fault. He had some decent 5-10 yard carries that he fought for every step. Against the panther's tough D line I expect another slow week but I think it will get significantly better after that.
That is all.
We are definitely a work in progress with a lot of young players learning two new schemes on the fly. I think we see continual improvement week to week and start seeing serious improvement after the bye week when they can actually sit down and address things and work on some things better.
Spiller according to Jeremy White who broke down the All-22 film had multiple cut back lanes available but he didn't take them...Whether his mind just wasn't right after what went on with his family or he just had an off day I don't know...

Sully was maddening at times with his obvious axe to grind and intentionally trying to create inflammatory issues out of non-inflammatory things...
-
I heard the Hilton has a great view of the river where you can see a floating barge on fire...
-
Now I see why Marrone has been successful every where he has gone...things like this really help foster relationships within the team and really helps player buy ni and holding each other accountable. Makes the players feel as if they have say and its THEIR team not just a team they play on...

How best? Run directly at them? Wear them down with a fullback? Run screens to make them have to chase?
I'm in though.
Offensive Pace...
No matter how good you are, if you are having trouble breathing, it is going to seriously lessen your abilities...
If the Bills stay on the field enough, it will start to show especially late in the 3rd quarter and into the 4th quarter of games...

What i liked the most...
Colin Brown sucked badly yet it didn't lead to any sacks, EJ had time to throw most of the day, and there was still room to run.
I guess LG really ISN'T that important of a position and the Bills did well to not pay Levitre a boatload of money.
Meanwhile in Tennessee, Chris Johnson still averaged under 3 yards a carry even with perhaps the highest paid OL in football...

Ya but would he restructure?
CBF
Don't see why not, they usually roll salary into upfront bonus money and then drop the base salaries to spread it out over the length of the agreement
-
I believe 10m of that is rollover from last year, which can't be
re-rolled.
Yes, correct, forgot about that...
-
You just like to ruin my day don't you?
Only if you didn't read my post, 2 posts ahead of yours

Bills suck for 13 years and still sell out most games...Jacksonville sucked for 2 years and gets nobody anymore...
Just shows how remarkable the situation in Buffalo is...don't know of many other places with our track record that would still regularly sell out games...maybe Green Bay, Cleveland and Pittsburgh?? That's about it tho..

As you can see here, Bills are in pretty good cap shape compared to rest of NFL...
We have $110 million committed to cap next year which includes 11.5 mil in dead money. Only 10 teams have more available cap room than we do next year and many of those teams have under 40 players under contract with some having low 30s and one 28...Bills have 43, so if they had and equal number, they would likely exceed our cap number or be right with us...
we also get to add our 22.5 mil to next year's cap, so if it stays the same we likely have over 35 million in available cap room next year...
http://overthecap.com/nfl-cap-space2.php?Year=2014
Saints and Cowboys flirting with disaster as they are well over cap room with only 43 and 46 players under contract...lots of restructuring or cutting going on there...
-
Also don't forget we can roll the unused cap space this year on top of our allotted cap space next year, so it will be normal cap+22.5 mil next year
-
Pretty sure Mario will be restructured...no way they allow an 18+ mil cap hit to hit the books

The NFL did institute a new black out rule I believe teams only need to sell 85% of the tickets. That said they left a clause for teams to opt out which the Bills did.
Yes, because if you don't sell out you have to pay the visiting teams share of the unsold tickets as a penalty each game that doesn't sell out...
It is a rice like grain...kind of.
Lol, think he was commenting on the commercial cooking a quinoa burger cause they won last time he ate it even tho it tasted horrible...pretty funny...
The tag line at the end is "It's only weird if you don't win"
-
You only need the tickets to be sold, it doesn't matter how many actually show up...just ask Miami and Jacksonville who are "sold out" but play to half empty stadiums because they literally "give" the tickets away after their corporate sponsors buy all the unsold seats and not many actually use them
