Everyone worried about the Raiders rushing attack, and they had some nice runs in there, but the Bills D really clamped down and only allowed 98 yads on 30 carries---a paltry 3.3 yards per carry...
Take away the 84 yard pass and the Raiders have somewhere in the neighborhood of 150 total yards. They also held them to 10 first downs and 2 of 12 on 3rd downs...
Bills D showing they could be an elite unit this year...
-
He also is the "We are not taking no sh*t from anyone!!" player on offense, just like Whitner is on D...
Reed has been in at least one scuffle every game so far this year it seems like...
-
Whitner perhaps the biggest statement of the year for this team...they are not taking that type of BS lightly, and will not tolerate that no matter who it is...
It is the same thing Josh Reed has shown on offense...they are not going to be intimidated, scared, or pushed around by ANYONE...
Whitner just gained the ultimate respect of everyone in that locker room...

It would be a mistake the fire Kiffen - his team came out and played above their heads on the road. If you fire the guy after that you're going to lose your team.
Al Davis stopped caring long ago about winning games...the only thing he cares about now is winning stupid, grade-school personal battles with people in his organization and to show everyone how much he power he has and how he can control everyone...
Kiffin will be fired and it might not wait until Monday...
When a guy makes sure a story that was disparaging about Kiffin is distributed in his locker room so the players and the media members can see, you know you have a very dysfunctional situation.

I feel bad for JP. I think the four years he spent at Tulane running for his life behind that O-line doomed him from the start. But you never know....maybe this time holding the clipboard will help him in the long run.
didn't Edwards do the same thing at Stanford??

OL not giving great protection
Fumbled balls when we are driving? The very questionable Evans fumble where they had the ball in the red zone and scored?
I love this team
Bad teams find ways to LOSE when they are playing well...
Good teams find way to WIN when they are playing bad...
We looked at a microcosm of The Bills the last 8 years in the Raiders today...we saw what it looks like to win when you shouldn't...
Our time is now!!!
-
He would have a line of hotties looking for him to bring them home after today!!!
-
it just seemed like one of those games...perhaps the Bills thought they were so good they could just step out there and win, but the Raiders came with a fierce D...
What a freaking win....following that win from last week, these are the type of games that turn the fates of franchises...

Did anyone have a funny feeling like we were watching a reversal of the Cowboys-Bills game last year? Both teams played horrible most of the game, were thoroughly outplayed, and should have lost, but because of their QB's somehow, someway making enough plays when it counted to win the game, they didn't...
As I sat there and watched Lindell line up for the FG, I almost expected to hear a whistle and see Oakland call TO even tho I knew they couldn't...
Well, all I can say is that Edwards has something special about him...first a 96 yard TD drive and then a perfect throw to Parrish with a 350 DT in his face flattening him for a TD...then he drove us down the field for the winning FG...
That was Kelly-esque, IMHO...first time we have seen something like that in a loooong time around here...we had NO margin for error on those drives...if we failed on any of those, the game was over...in all three cases, Edwards got the job done under game-ending pressure....
Wow, this is gonna be a fun season....
-
Look at the Raiders defenders....they LOOK dejected...as in "How can we be getting ready to lose this game?!?!"
-
Plenty of time for us here...wow if we can win this game it will be huge...theses are the types of games good teams win...the ones you play poorly in but find a way...
-
What a freaking throw!!!!
-
Edwards is driving them at least...
-
great...Whitner loses his cool or else they would be kicking off from the 15...
-
Cmon...
you must be kidding me...
-
Wow...Bills are feeling it now...
-
what the !@#$?? he was blocking his ass off. kudos to him if anything.
Sorry, I just saw his being shoved out of pile yelling at someone and being separated by teammates...that was a pretty blatant takedown by the facemask and then a punch to the face by Wilson...
-
This is how bad teams end up losing games....does everyone remember how we used to be in the same position as the Raiders are today and end up blowing it? Well, now the Raiders are the bad team, and perhaps they are starting to get some memories back of how they usually blow these situations...
-
Josh Reed involved in ANOTHER scrap...what is with him...he is gonna cost us 15 if he doesn't cut it out...
-
I mean did these guys wake up today and just all decide they didn't feel like playing football?
Did they all talk about how they would have rather watched a movie somewhere instead?
-
Unbelievable...
This week, the Bills will be lucky to get SUNDAY NIGHT off from the coaching staff...
-
Are the coaches even in the game today?!?!? Did they not realize like every fan in the stadium that it was a tipped ball?? This is a total implosion from the coaching staff down today....
-
OK, its obvious the Bills got away with one, and they don't bother trying to hurry?!?!? Are you freaking kidding me?? SNAP THE BALL!!
-
Its reputation has not risen over the years, and it is still a long way from general acceptance. Use regardless instead.
yeah, basically it cements the fact you have a very limited vocabulary and your use of diction is not very good either...
Want a link for that word as well?
Kiffin might be lucky

The Yahoo article about this whole thing had a source who was a friend of Kiffin that told the reporter "He is scared that he is going to have stay the whole year, not that he is going to get fired..."
