I like his football smarts. He has a great arm, good size. I don't like his lateral movement, it seems as though he has really good strait line speed but doesn't move all that well in the pocket. His release is really good. Mechanics on his throws are perfect. I didn't see him throw off his back foot very often. He tends to hold the ball too long and locks on to receivers. I don't think he is top of the first round talent, but he definately is a bottom of the first round QB prospect. I have watched basically every college game he's ever played.

Jauron needs to be our DC.

Fitz looks like Joe Montana compared to Trent Edwards, but Fitz also looks like Ryan Leaf compared to Tom Brady. Bills need a franchise QB.

Not sure where he fits in the draft. I assume 2nd or 3rd rounder.. All I know, is this guy is a heck of a pass rusher. Could be a possibility for Buffalo in the top of the 2nd round. My link

Its time to blow this thing up and start over. There are a lot of players who need to go and Ryan Fitzpatrick is not the answer long term at QB.

Franchise QB = Wins The quicker we get a franchise QB, the quicker this thing gets turned around. Ryan Fitzpatrick is just prolonging this process. You people need to get off the Fitzpatrick bandwagon. He was mediocre at best this year. He should start next year but QB should be the #1 draft priority.

The Rams made a bunch of dumb moves until they drafted their franchise QB.

Fitzpatrick is not elite, never will be elite. The Bills right now need an elite QB. That is how you win in the NFL. It all starts with a franchise QB and Fitz is not it. He can hold the fort down for a year while the Bills develop a QB, but you HAVE to take a franchise QB if he is there in the first round. Look at the F'n Rams... I live in St. Louis and its pretty obvious what a good young QB can do to a team and a fan base.

Im pretty pissed off that Chan Gailey is probably not going to take a QB high in the draft because Ryan Fitzpatrick had a descent year. I would have rather had a hugh flop at QB this year so we could finally draft the high first round pick that this franchise has needed for years. Fitz's play has prevented the Bills from hitting rock bottom and now it looks like we will have 2-3 more years of flopping around with no direction. Fitzpatrick does not win football games.

agree, you have to take a QB. Either Newton or Luck would be fine.

His lateral movement is terrible. I don't like the way he moves in the pocket and he holds the ball too long. I have watched every single one of his games this year. I do like his arm/smarts/ and his toughness.

I know we all wanted a big redzone target 2 years back so the Bills drafted James Hardy. Obviously he didn't work out. Is David Nelson basically what we wanted from James Hardy and were willing to use a 2nd round pick on? If thats the case, David Nelson has second round value in my opinion.
