  1. That's funny, my friend actually just joked about that to me
  2. I don't doubt we'll have someone replace him , but a Pro Bowl left tackle, which in my opinion is the most important on the line, is hard to replace, and especially on short notice
  3. I would say to your original post that of course I want a competitor like Poz, who wouldn't. It just doesn't solve our problem of replacing a Pro Bowl left tackle
  4. anywhere on the line, to help depth? I know he's asking for a lot, but if he accepts a low offer I don't think it could hurt
  5. sure it's speculation, but isn't that exactly all we do here all day long, is speculate
  6. I'll be convinced once he is out there practicing. Also, I can't believe that its being reported in the Adam Schefter article that Peters would be willing to sit out the season. He's under contract for 3 more years. Someone has to budge, don't they. At least some conversation. I understand the Bills are taking a hardline stance here, and i don't disagree. But there isn't anything lost in having dialogue
  7. per rotoworld NFL Network's Jaime Dukes said on Total Access Sunday night that Bills OT Langston Walker "may have a broken arm." The Bills initially said Walker's X-rays came back negative. However, Adam Schefter reported that Dick Jauron said the injury "does not look good." This would be a massive loss for Buffalo, figuratively and literally. They could be hiding a more serious injury so as not to lose leverage against Peters
  8. Calm down Promo, you might blow a gasget
  9. I'm glad its not broken but they were saying on rotoworld that it could be a torn triceps. like the previous poster said, x-rays won't show that. I hope he'll be ok. It would be nice to have him back at RT and Peters were his a$$ belongs
  10. is that what they are saying?
  11. I can't be more upset if 'word' is true. Walker is pretty damn good in the run game, and he shouldn't have been playing on the left to begin with. Let's say both he and Peters are out for a while, does that take W's off the board?
  12. i saw he got hurt, now I'm home and can't watch. any word on his injury?
  13. I think he is the key to a successful season offensively
  14. I have to say you could have done better with the running backs
  15. I always go StubHub. I know $150 is a lot of money, but to get tickets for that price in Buffalo is a steal compared to Giants or jets tickets, especially opening day. I got a ticket 40 yard line, 4th row for $150. I think that's a good deal
  16. Thanks gentleman, greatly appreciated
  17. For the first time we're not making the long drive back to NYC after the game, so maybe somewhere with some good bars
  18. Hey everyone. I'm a Buffalo Bills fan from New York City and I go to every opening day game up at the Ralph. The last couple of years I have stayed in hotels near Duffs outside of the city. Do any of you have any suggestions for other areas or hotels that would be good? Thanks for the help!
  19. For me this is a problem as well, but it's a problem we worry about once he FINALLY shows up. I hope his extended absence doesn't affect the Bills in the W-L column. I thought he could affect us for as much as 3 games in the W-L this year, but it seems high for one player to cost us that much. Thoughts?
  20. She was the belly dancer in the movie Charlie Wilson's War when he goes to talk to the President of Egypt. http://deadspin.com/sports/wade-phillips/w...hter-235598.php
  21. because it actually makes me kind of like Wade Phillips
  22. per rotoworld Matt Hasselbeck (back) is expected to miss Seattle's third preseason game. He didn't practice Wednesday after Tuesday's setback. Coach Mike Holmgren says Hasselbeck's back is "tight and sore," but thinks his QB will be back for the season opener. Still, this is concerning because Hasselbeck is 33 and could've used the game reps with his unproven receiver corps. He will most likely play week 1, but he'll be banged up. Engram and Branch will be out and I think that lineman Locklear and Spencer have been hurt as well.
