  1. To prevent from the bills trading to another team. also Legette is considered raw so having the 5th year option may be desirable.
  2. The trade with Carolina is a no brainer for many reasons. 1. You confirm with Carolina the player they are moving up to select is not the player you want. If it is then you don’t make the trade. 2. you move up about 60 spots from late 6th to high 5th. That is the 125 ranked player vs the 185. 3. the newly acquired high 5th rounder is a much more valuable trade chip to improve 2nd, 3rd, and 4th rounders. 4. The first pick in the 2nd round is often a highly traded pick as teams reevaluate their boards (since moving to the 3 day format), giving more trade down opportunities.
  3. If this holds. And no WR go before the bills I would want a trade back about 8 spots the. Throw 2 2nds at WR...Franklin and Legette. and pick up a 4th rounder.
  4. im thinking Brian Thomas jr must have some medical issues for everyone to pass.
  5. This must be the start of the DE run that causes us to panic and draft Kneeland.
  6. With all the offensive players and such not much really changes for pick 28. All these players were likely off the board before 28.
  7. can easily move up with the Bills at 28 to get Penix and get the 5th year option with the first round picks
  8. What is interesting in this mock is how many players in the 3rd round are available that I’d love to see the bills take. Granted it is probably due to reaches like Kneeland making players available. But the 3rd includes… Legette Franklin Kris Jenkins Cole Bishop Kinchens
  9. Recently read an article youth and high school football participation down ~7% year over year for the last 6 years.
  10. Allen has never really produced with a big YAC guy. Is that because of the Bills offensive scheme with almost no effective WR screens, very few slant routes and I can’t remember I have ever seen shallow drag routes thrown under LB coverage. i wouldn’t want to pay Aiyuk big money and then not take advantage of one of his best attributes.
  11. another reason to focus on offense is the D is just not as critical in the playoffs. Basically no offensive holding is called and the DBs can get away with more holding and contact. this basically devalues the DB and DE in the playoffs (while they are of fullest value during the regular season).
  12. they are at pick six, they don’t have to mortgage the future to move up 2-3 spots.
  13. The Giants sure need OL help but I don’t see the Bills moving Dawkins he has generally be healthy at a position of need at with a recently redone deal. Also he played very well by most metrics last year.
  14. I wonder if a small move up in the 2nd can get Franklin after the poor combine. im curious how his first 10 split was on these private workouts he had.
  15. id be willing to spend a 4th!!! In all reality I spend the first 2 picks on WR. Due to the ballooning cost to sign Free Agent WRs and great ones rarely coming available. You need to have a cap controlled contract or two.
  16. puka, Jefferson and Chase all had over 1400 yards in their rookie year.
  17. Jamar Chase and Jordan Jefferson back to back rookie seasons. Puka Nacua this past year. OBJ and Michael Thomas. Jordan Addison has 900 yards and 10 TDs last year. Would you consider Zay Flowers 800+ yards and 5 TDs a good rookie season?
  18. They say what they needed to from Kincaid. The offense will run through him. If healthy he is 160 targets a season. Hopefully more of them are downfield routes.
  19. wrong we have a more likely path to him now that he has ties to Carolina.
  20. WR has become a necessary position to fill via the draft for all teams due to cap concerns. Having two 1a and 1b WRs are too expensive via free agency or 2nd and 3rd contracts one needs to be cap friendly rookie deal in my opinion.
  21. with AI capabilities creating that video is fairly simple
  22. what do heart and soul matter without Chroise
