With all the talk of the Eagles strong D-line, the other factor that contributed to the Eagles Defensive dominance of the Chiefs was the lockdown CB play from Slay and Mitchell. The Lockdown version of Tre White pre-injury, coupled with Benford as a future CB1 playing as a CB2 would have allowed the Bills to lockdown the Chiefs WR's in the same manner as the Eagles did on Sunday. Obviously the Bills pass rush is nothing like Philly, but I really would have liked the chance to see if a dominant White and Benford combo could have been the difference to get past the Chiefs.

I would trade two 1st's for Garrett, sign a FA CB2 to a 1 year "try to win a Super Bowl with the Bills this year, then get paid by another team the following year" contract(like Leonard Floyd did a couple of years ago), use the two second rounders to draft a 1-tech space-eating DT and S Xavier Watts to pair with Bishop on the back-end. That would be a pretty decent Defensive overhaul in one offseason. Doing this would come at the expense of not re-signing Cooper, and not using another high draft pick on a WR to replace him. In that scenario, the Bills would have to gamble that Samuel could have a fully healthy year, and that Coleman and Kincaid could stay healthy, and take a big step forward next year.

Just watched episode one of American Primeval on Netflix.... there is a five minute single shot continuous action scene that will really catch you by surprise. The American West at that time period sure does not look like the place to be.....yikes.

I see you "considered" S Xavier Watts in the 2nd round, and I would go with him there if he were available. I was high on Cole Bishop as a second rounder before the draft last year, and believe he will take a big step forward next year, but I am actually even higher on Watts than Bishop. I think a pairing of Bishop and Watts at the two Safety positions, Bishop at the SS position and Watts at FS, could become a dominant duo for years in the Bills Secondary.
