Yes... I'm not sure if things changed as time went on... They probably did because Josh improved so much. But I know Dabs did not go easy on Josh early on when he needed to hear it. Everyone is different and I'm not saying dressing down a dude is the answer to everything. But maybe there is a balance? I don't know.

I totally agree with this take... But admittedly I'm massively disappointed it ever got here. And a lot of my frustration is directly pointed at Josh. I think what a lot of us forget is how smart he is. He is SUPER smart... So...I guess knowing that I'm much more black and white on these things. I figure, by now, his game should be going in a much more positive direction because he's smart enough to know right from wrong. But something happens out there with him that I'm obviously not smart enough to figure out...

After my own deep dive here's what I've got... Josh Allen lost this game and there are no other excuses. Sure everything was not perfect, but we're playing a VERY good defense. Josh completely blew it because he played like a confused 12 year old on amphetamines. There are no other excuses and if there is anything else we need to do it's simply stop with all that garbage. It was Josh. A disciplined QB with his arm talent and athletic capabilities would have put up 30 minimum Monday night with patience, smarts, accuracy, and scrambling ability. Instead he decided to play like an idiot. That's why we lost. And he needs to grow tf up...

Right now... Nope... But I'm glad Gabe had such a great off season and Josh has never been more committed to football...

I don't want to oversimplify anything until I can really see what happened...But my best guess to all of everything concerning Josh is one word... Daboll...

We quite literally gave them this game... Handed it to them on a silver platter. But that's an old story with this team now... Their star QB is regressing before our eyes because they can't figure it out. The Jets get a really bad break, but in the 2nd half especially they get the ultimate gift. Josh can't even be smart enough to understand that zero TO's equals an easy win the minute the old man goes out? Or we don't have anyone that can relay that message? No one? That's it. Win ugly...Whatever... But it's a win. And he just can't help himself. This game was lost by John Allen and the fact that we had a full off season and no one seems to have gotten through to him that we can't turn the f'ing ball over. I really cannot believe it... Like... They did not have to be great tonight. The minute the old man goes down just don't be stupid. Embarrassing. There's no excuse and in the end it's on McDermott. I agree with the guy on the radio just now. You lose twice to Zach Wilson in 2 years then it's on the HC... Good teams do not lose this game... They just don't. It turns out all the Jets had to do is make sure Wilson did not turn it over more than Josh, and play ultra conservative. Incredible. I realize Josh has limitless upside, but again...They had all off season, drafted a weapon in the 1st...And this is the best they can do? They have 16 games to change my mind... They did not say it as a done deal, they just said the rumors, and where they were coming from, are pretty strong that it's going to get done tomorrow. Chris Brown sounded like he had at the very least heard something from someone reliable. He did hedge a little and said there may be another team. But they both (Brown and Tasker) sounded like they were pretty sure it would be Miami. I'm sure Miami will end up with him because apparently the AFC East is the only Division in the NFL...

It's possible... I did not think of shopping Benford, but on another thread I commented that Elam coming in at CB4 in the final preseason game was not exactly improving his market value if Beane wanted to dangle him. So when you look at it the other way around with Benford it is interesting. Of course chances are they keep all 4. But the trade possibilities are not zero.
