  1. Peeking in the backfield and lost him.
  2. Booooooo. What do you have to lose?
  3. Something wrong with me being able to see the game live in London while western NYers can't.
  4. Yep, coverage teams are horrid and McKelvin has gone from averaging 18 yards per punt return to 6.
  5. No, Woods made a nice adjustment to a badly under thrown ball.
  6. You're likely right but I question throwing a jump ball to Graham in the first place.
  7. Carpenter makes it look easy from 45 in bad weather. Bills need to stop trying to drive the ball down field so often. Ball is high on nearly every throw, wet ball has to be effecting Thad.
  8. Definitely not jump balls.
  9. His foot looked in on that brief look before commercial.
  10. Run the ball. Offense is going to be tough for either team with the weather. Edit: right as I type this long ball.
  11. I could literally punt it farther than that. He is so inconsistent.
  12. He's also one of the best - if not the best - blitz pickup back in the league. FJ does it all, is a team leader, doesn't mind splitting the workload, is one of the hardest workers on the team and has a cap friendly number. Thankfully the Bills finally have a chance to cut this guy!
  13. How about finish 1-1 thereby not sucking to end the season but not compromising the draft pick too much.
  14. 40 times aren't everything but Evans does looks slow on tape. Part of the reason is he's not fluid, he has a little stiffness in his hips. Someone like Fitzgerald (or woods for that matter) can run a slower 40 but make up for it because he's fluid and comes out of his breaks clean which creates separation (in addition to having amazing hands.)
  15. At the same time I'm trying to think of when a knee injury ever derailed a QB's career before. WRs, RBs, CBs, yeah. But a QB? I'm not too worried about it other than him not getting the playing time he needs. But if it continues into next year then there may be a problem.
  16. I'm not down on him but I'm not confident either. He's about where I'd expect him to be. The good news is he has the physical tools to be elite so if he does finally "get it" he won't be an Alex Smith type, he'll be much better. Granted, there's about the same chance that it never clicks for him and he's thrown into the dustbin of QB of Bills future's past. It's really a toss up at this point but I'll skew it slightly in his favor because he seems like a smart kid with a leader's demeanor. Let's hope he's an extremely hard worker too. Confidence level: 55% By the end of next year we should have a much better idea though he'll still be far from a finished product.
  17. I couldn't even listen to his whining past the first minute. I find it funny that he thinks his players are soft. He's soft. This isn't the type of thing you bring to the media. He's complaining and blaming someone else for his team's struggles. His job as the coach is to find a way to communicate to his players. A way that resonates with them. It's what good teachers do. What did he think, college kids were going to all say, "yes sir, no sir" and his job would be a trip to the candy shop? Yet here he is blaming others. And does he think that airing this stuff to the media is the best way to bridge the gap between him and his players. If he thought it was difficult before he just made it much worse.
  18. Being a UCLA fan and seeing most of Hundley's games I don't think he's ready for the NFL. He is inconsistent as hell - even at the college level. His accuracy is a big issue, when he misses he often misses BIG. Often times I wonder who he was throwing to. When UCLA's run game disappears and the game is on Hundley's shoulders things don't go well when he's playing decent competition. Top that off with a very questionable pocket presence. He takes sacks at an alarming rate and it's not all on the OL. I actually laugh when I see people projecting him as a top flight pick. He's a frustrating talent at the college level because he should be great. He has unbelievable physical skills but he's only a pretty good college QB who is athletic and makes spectacular plays every now and again. He's a project of greater proportions than EJ. He needs to stay in school. I'd take a flyer at him in them mid rounds but wouldn't touch him with a pick in the top 2 rounds.
  19. It's a hell of a lot easier to find a quality LG than it is to find another good LT so why move Glenn? He's doing a great job for a 2nd year LT.
  20. The same posters who said they didn't like the pick are the ones who pile on no matter what. It's not coincidence. People would rather be right than have EJ be good.
  21. He has issues with concussions he's the last guy I'd want to count on to be there when the team needs him.
