  1. Except he can throw. I've seen him throw beautiful balls with accuracy when he's standing back in the pocket with confidence. A lot of the problems with his footwork come when he feels rushed whether imagined or real. When this happens he rushes through his throwing motion and his footwork goes to hell. At some point he'll start to get it and things will slow down for him. It will be at that point the Bills will know what they've got. Unfortunately for impatient fans the only way to get to that point is the play. The Bills would be idiotic to move on from him before they get to that point.
  2. This didn't sound right so I did a quick search and the most recent report I got was from before the season began with "projected" starters. According to this list the Bills field the 5th youngest starting roster in the NFL. http://espn.go.com/blog/nflnation/post/_/id/77416/average-age-rankings-for-projected-starters Nonetheless you point holds. This team does have plenty of vets who have grown accustomed to losing. Hopefully it doesn't rub off on the young players.
  3. Anthony Barr is the guy I want. Bills likely won't draft high enough to grab him but he's going to be a beast at the next level.
  4. I find all these by fans who know more than the coaching staff and front office really interesting. It's amazing how many of you guys just know he has no chance of being good while a coaching staff with a lifetime of experience just can't see the game the way you geniuses see it. There's a reason they give these guys time. It's because it's tough to weed out the bad ones after just a few starts because the good ones also generally look like crap early in their careers. So while you might end up being right that he'll end up not being good you'd also throw away a lot of talented QBs who started out slowly.
  5. It's such a joke. This game pisses me off more than the Bills debacle. Every single week they get calls that help them win. It's ridiculous.
  6. How is that not a flag? He slid...
  7. That one wasn't even a penalty.
  8. And people wonder why he's not in the game on passing downs. FJ is the best RB in the league at picking up the blitz while Spiller continuously misses blocks.
  9. Geez, penalty wipes out my FF TD from Spiller.
  10. Here comes the 3 TD comeback to send it to OT!
  11. Yep. He's out but they'll give him a TD.
  12. Yeah, that's what I'm wondering. I've seen that called a penalty all year. I don't like that it's a penalty but they've called it all year long.
  13. Of course that's followed by a OL penalty.
  14. Whoever's job it is to zoom in at CBS needs to find a new career.
  15. Hell of a catch.
  16. So tired of penalties.
  17. That Spiller run is the epitome of p&*&y. He needs one yard and instead of just driving forward to get it he runs to the sideline and out of bound. Drives me crazy.
  18. True enough. I wouldn't wish the pain of watching any part of this game on anyone.
  19. Oh, he had plenty of time to get rid of the ball, I was just countering the point that he could have stepped up into he pocket.
  20. Try watching it again. McCoy was right there.
  21. Gerald McCoy would have obliterated him had he stepped into that pocket.
  22. They can't get much worse. They've been bad in pretty much every phase of the game.
  23. He keeps defending the run the way I've seen him do it the past few weeks and it will be well deserved.
  24. A few bad series and his psyche is ruined? I don't buy that. I'm more worried about this defense than I am about Manuel right now. The D is totally collapsing these past few weeks.
  25. What? This entire season is about getting the rook seasoning - yeah, let's bench him when they're already out of the playoffs.
