  1. Agreed. Not only all this, IMO he has had no true leadership / role model on any of these Bills teams to lean on & take him under their wing. If the Bills cut him and he ends up on say the Pats or Steelers, we'll all see just how good he is.
  2. Indeed. Outside of the pure Pollyannas, I think some of his biggest fans were the mock draft geeks because a lot of his picks matched up well with their boards.
  3. Yeah, if anyone deserves any sympathy, it's Russ Brandon. His 2013 Master Plan to untarnished the brand was a complete disaster.
  4. I think Whaley still believed... but if they had more games to play after the 2nd Jets game, I can't see him ever seeing the field again as a Bill, that had to be the final straw.
  5. After London, having a street FA QB making the rookie minimum would've made more sense than bringing EJ back. So would making Cardale the #2. Just look at the last game against the Jets and imagine if TT had been lost for the season earlier.
  6. Nice post. I didn't start calling for Whaley's head until after the halfway point of his 3rd season as GM, and McD/Beane will be no different if they also fail.
  7. By far my biggest problem with him.
  8. Thanks. Agree 100% with TG.
  9. And at least 3 of the reasons why McD demanded he be fired can be found in that article.
  10. Pretty strong top 3, I would have to agree with them.
  11. Oh I think 1 or both will make it. You've got almost a whole generation of fans that have never experienced a good Bills team, gotta throw them a bone. I look at both as complementary player types who would always get mentioned after discussing the true stars of the team, only those teams didn't have any true stars.
  12. Yeah. He'd be the only one I would even consider but in the end, I have to say no. Butch Byrd please.
  13. Yeah, he might've uncovered someone as talented as Doug Whaley.
  14. Makes sense to have him sit there and STFU while McD and Pegs did all the talking. "Yes sir, Terry" "Yes sir, Sean"
  15. i prefer to think that it was a very, very small part. He may have been in the room, but he's been humbled by so much failure on the football side of operations, from every bad move before 2013 thru hiring Marrone to promoting Whaley. Everything he's touched has been absolute ****. Whatever though, it doesn't matter, he's irrelevant anymore.
  16. Make no mistake though, this wouldn't be happening without Whaley and Brandon being out of the way.
