    I am not saying it is not disruptive to some extent. However when you are in your 20s like many of these players, you can adjust pretty quickly to disruptions in your cycle. I don't think it explains why the offense can't do anything.

    Why not? If we keep doing what we're doing we will be down by 32.

    That terrible negative run play was bad in every respect. Their defense is crushing our offense and it looks like scheme, not because our players are flat.

    I say it won't be reversed because the call on the field was a catch and it is not conclusive.

    They almost always do X-rays anyhow. The real concern would be if it is a complex break. A simple break is still bad but easier to recover from than torn ligaments.

    I'm pretty sure if we were down 5+ starters on offense it would also be terrible.

    So let's recap the situation. We are missing both of our starting CBs, plus Rousseau. Lawson is inactive. Now we have lost DaQuan Jones and Milano as well. We've gone from a top D to a very questionable one. We need our offense to get on track quickly.

    Their connection is just THAT close.

    And he didn't fumble when sacked. Taking care of the football is what he needs to do in order to have a shot at MVP.

    All week I heard about how Sam Howell was 3-0 looking to go 4-0. Well the tone of the DC sports reporters will be a lot different tonight.

    In both games this year I felt that Josh was more accurate than last year, based on the eye test. There seemed to be fewer guys stretching or scooping balls off the turf. My guess is that the off-season allowed his elbow to get rest and it helped in a subtle way. Generally the ball seemed to be going where he meant to throw it. Hopefully that continues.

    Unfortunately our bye week is too late for a coaching change. Give Dorsey 4-6 games and if the team still stinks, replace him.

    Just tell Josh to throw 4-9 yard passes over and over and forget the long stuff. Mix in a couple runs. Don't blow this.
