  1. He can catch Touchdowns though!
  2. Another 3rd down conversion?!?!!!
  3. Dumb penalty by Florence. Turn around, Flacco can get that pass out front.
  4. Wow, Flacco almost got Ray Rice murdered there. By Poz no less.
  5. Why are we so good on third down today???
  6. Nice breakup by Posluzny...no points!
  7. How do we miss at least one tackle on every running play. Even vets like Stroud and Andra Davis whiff on the ball carrier almost every play.
  8. Wow Kelsay looking horrible again
  9. A couple good guys in the secondary...and Flacco is forcing it into their coverage...pretty much the only possible way our defense can succeed.
  10. What a horrible game plan by the Ravens...they are playing right to our strengths on defense...I'm sure they'll switch it up sooner or later but it makes no sense at this point.
  11. Oher just tackled Kyle Williams to open that hole Troup making tackles down the field, nice... And a play by Whitner...weird day so far.
  12. On a side note how bad is it that a 6th round pick and an undrafted free agent from this year have both passed last year's first round pick on the depth chart.
  13. Not sure if we're just talking about players up for extension but Levitre is a beast, he's a man amongst boys out there. I still have hope for Wood too, maybe at C.
  14. The article mentioned Luck, Mallett, Locker, Christian Ponder and Blaine Gabbert from Missouri as the the top QBs in the draft with all potentially having 1st round grades.
  15. The difference, in my opinion, between Brady and Clausen was that Brady was always under the radar, most draft boards had him that low for whatever reason. Clausen on the other hand was seen as a 1st round talent and teams that needed QBs seemed to sprint in the other direction last year when they were on the board, even in the second round when QB hungry teams like us, Cleveland, and Oakland all passed on him in the 2nd round.
  16. Clausen was picked 48th in the draft. I'm not saying that he won't be a franchise QB someday but judging by how he played in Carolina so far he wouldn't be faring that much better in Buffalo. And I'm sure you would be getting the coals ready to burn him at the stake. Like I said in the other thread there are possibly 5 potential 1st round QBs this year. I'd rather one of them then give the keys to a second round talent.
  17. Spiller may not have been the right pick but there was no franchise QB available at #9.
  18. Schefter wrote an article yesterday saying two high ranking scouts told him that this could be the best QB class since '83. There is almost no way we don't come out with a QB in Round 1 of the draft next year.
  19. I felt that whole situation was handled rather oddly. The trade rumors, then moving his position when he got to camp without warning, then the injury. Just an odd situation all around. Hopefully he can get back at it, he'd be nice as an option in the off season. It would save us a draft pick to spend on some other position.
  20. Actually Troup was in on most of the snaps against Jacksonville so he is getting some playing time. I'm sure we'll see him plenty this week too against Rice and co. Hopefully we'll start to see more of Carrington as well because Stroud's not looking so hot in the 3-4. So I'm guessing we'll find out more about these guys in the coming weeks. And yes, calling Easley and Batten busts before even seeing an NFL snap is rather ridiculous.
  21. I think we kind of need to right? Why open more holes that need to be filled...that's how you keep spinning in circles. I say keep Poz & Florence unless you can get a better nickel option in free agency. Whitner is tricky because I'd rather not sign him long term yet at the same time I don't want to waste another draft pick on a DB.
  22. http://espn.go.com/blog/nflnation/post/_/id/30116/jared-gaither-likely-done-in-baltimore Could be worth a shot. With a change of scenery he could get his career back on track...does this become an injury settlement issue?
  23. Just an example, this is from just last year http://www.nfl.com/draft/story?id=09000d5d817a50e9&template=with-video-with-comments&confirm=true Also it made sense to look to move the pick since that was their third top 3 pick in 3 years.
