  1. He didn't need to invite them, they had already set up residence there. Furthermore, Obama was the most divisive president in my lifetime. Just look at his actions during the government shutdown in which he vowed to make citizens pay as deep of a price as possible. Uh, I think you misunderstood him. He was actually saying "which hole dwan it in"?
  2. Obviously there was much debate here in 2016 and I think it was DC Tom who put it in perspective. If Hillary was elected she could get away with the bs much like Obama did, but Trump wouldn't be able to get away with it because of checks and balances. The SC makeup was a serious concern for most of us. I personally (in the real world) was able to convince 3 women to vote for Trump based on the SC angle, even though they thought he was a pig and were disgusted by him.
  3. If I remember correctly Thursday Night Football is on Thursday, you know, the day before Trump's speech in Atlanta. Obviously you haven't spent a night with Hannah.
  4. People tend to discount (or not even realize) the affect that air conditioning had on the influx of northerners (like you Mr. Ohioan) to the south.

  6. Looks like this thread is a good place for me to advertise my canned laughter business.
  7. I wasn't even objecting to the description of the devastation but I was objecting to the "little help in sight" bs.
  8. Yes, we might be throwing on first down. Seriously though, he's doing fine right where he is at. He can push for many of the things that a lot of us want but be held in check by the other branches. For example, do we need a wall? No but if he pushes for that we will get better border security. Do we need 15% corporate tax rates? Maybe, but 20% might do the trick.
  9. Wouldn't you agree that this headline by CNN is an outright lie? "'Apocalyptic' devastation in Puerto Rico, and little help in sight"
  10. Did you read the article? That headline is typical of CNN. In the article: "President Donald Trump has pledged federal help for Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands. A White House official said Trump is planning to visit Puerto Rico, but a date has not been set because of infrastructure concerns on the island. Homeland Security Adviser Tom Bossert and FEMA administrator Brock Long were traveling to Puerto Rico, according to White House press secretary Sarah Sanders. "The federal response has been anything but slow," Sanders said. "There's been an unprecedented push through of billions of dollars in federal assistance." Airplanes and ships loaded with meals, water and generators have been arriving or are headed to Puerto Rico and other affected Caribbean islands, the Federal Emergency Management Agency said in a statement. More than 10,000 federal employees are in Puerto Rico and the US Virgin islands helping with research and rescue efforts and moving goods, FEMA tweeted."
  11. Wrong. They absolutely believe in telling other people what they can and cannot do. Leftists in general are the least tolerant of all people. That is not what he said.
  12. This schit has gotten out of hand and the new focus of inequality has taken us away from the original intent of the "kneel down". Let's just call a spade a spade and make every Sunday "Michael Brown Day".
  13. Is this a Wikipedia article in which I can correct the egregious error of when Rock & Roll began?
  14. Wow, that's a lot of people in just one weekend. I'm wondering, did you use a calculator for this math exercise?
  15. Reading over this thread makes me feel sorta guilty for not eliminating my late grandmother from my life because she called blacks "darkies". I hope I don't carry this guilt to my grave. (-
  16. So, this is what you call a "mathematical estimate"? What makes it mathematical? At first I thought it was just a wild ass guess but I changed that to something you must have just pulled out of your ass. While both of those may certainly be true, I really think it is a gigantic crock of horseshit that you made up to defend your own bias.
  17. This what you wrote: "Anecdotal evidence from millions of people could be considered to have a modicum of truth, sure." Where did this little tidbit come from?
